Another Fun Find at my Favorite Thriftique!!

I just couldn't wait to show yall  this very cool, chalkboard.  I found it at Bon marche Goodwill!!  Pssst.........it cost a cool $5.00! Yip, Yip, Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

It was very, very, dog ugly.  The board was green and the wood tray portion was brown.  It was trashed.  I was so excited to transform it that I forgot to take a before picture.

I cleaned it up, well blew off the dust, ok?
Sprayed on some chalkboard black paint and
then painted the rest white.
See the little hooks at the top?  It will be easy to hang.

I'm going to put it in my sewing room.
It would also be great in a mudroom or at the backdoor entry
for family notes and messages.

Isn't it great?

~~hugs~~

Found you through your comment at Orphaned Decor in Spokane Wash. How I found her I have no idea. Strange how we meet.
I LOVE your spirit, your energy...oh and your SMILE. I can see in your pics that your beautiful face wasn't showing any teeth..and there they are!!!! You are a very happy camper, I can tell.
Now your booth, and your home are just divine to say the least. I have no idea where you are, but I'm sure it's far from me. I'm in Canada.
Yup Canada, too far right?
Well just stopped in to say hello.

I have a love for chalkboards. When I was a kid I had one and I spent hours playing with it each week. It was one of my favorite things. Your cute-refurbished chalkboard makes me think of that. The nice part about yours is the little tray at the bottom. Very useful!

Sissie, First let me just say this - coming over here is sooo much fun and very uplifting... I enjoy coming over to see you.

Your chalkboard is cute and I can imagine the shape in was in before you did your magic. The thing I like most about it is the open storage shelf on the bottom of it.

Until next time- TaTa
