Silver Sunday Love.....

Ok, bloggerettes it's time for Silver Sunday, which means it's time to get your bling on!  We have Beth , the gypsyfish  to thank for this ever growing popular day.  So be sure and go visit her for a link to all the other Silver Sunday Posts.

So, let's get started!  First up is my loot of silver that I scooped up
at the thriftiques this week.  A wonderful silver galvanized storage bin and a few silver trays.  Also a wonderfully tarnished candlelabra.

This three way Silver Vanity Mirror is one of my favorite
things.  I just can't seem to get enough of these
lovely venetian or etched mirrors.

I always have to throw in some Silver Bangles

This lovely etched Silver Tray was a
Christmas gift to me from me!

Now, for the piece de resistance.......
My Grandmom's Silver and Rhinestone Brooch that never, ever
leaves my bluejean jacket lapel.

Wish I could say that this Silver Coco Chanel Bag
was mine, but it's not.....maybe someday

Ok, enough lollygaggin here, get on over to
Gypsy Fish and  check out all the Silver Pretties.

~~Hugs~~

Oh Sissie sweetie...
I love that brooch that was your Grandmother's. It is breath taking, and you know as you wear it you think of things she might of thought, when she passed a mirror, or when someone commented on it to her. I would just wonder so many beautiful things. It is so special sweetie. I think I need that pink flower for a jean jacket that I just ordered and should be coming really soon. Where did you say your shop is located? I'll just be right over. It would go with my pink hat too.

The mirror is so elegant. What a beautiful vanity mirror it is. You were so lucky to find that one. You know where all the good sales are though, so you can find these wonderful items. You don't have me as a neighbor to compete with you. The etching especially is so beautiful.

Love the trays you found and the candelabra also. So beautiful sweetie. And ofcourse what jean jacket ensemble is complete without bangles right? Thank you for sharing today. As always it makes my day.

Have a beautiful Sunday. Country hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry

You have some beautiful silver items. I just realized I have a tray like one of those you bought. I didn't even think about it because it's put away with all my serving trays. I really love your mirror and your grandmother's brooch. It so nice to have something with memories attached. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi Sissie, The thing I loved most was mixing the galvanized with the real thing. Yep I KNOW it was just for picture taking BUT, you could do that for real ya know. I love the old with the new the rust with the shiny ya know that is just how the shabby chic began. Gotta go and get my sunglasses the glare on all your stuff is blinding me! XXMollye

Sissie the brooch is my favorite. How lucky you are to have something like that of your grandmothers. The mirror is gorgeous and I like how you grouped the trays together....great idea!

Sorry I missed your posts this weekend, Sissie. I've been down with a cold and asthma.

My favorites this week are hard to pick, but your vanity mirror is on top of the list. Of that I'm sure!

And I am a Grandma's anything girl, so that brooch would probably be my 2nd fave.
