Hi Sissie, just found your beautiful blog via a comment you left on Fitty's blog. OMGosh, your blog is so amazing: love your style and charm and those pillows you made are stunning beyond words. Guess the grey (BTW are they grey or is it just my screen??????) toile de jouy ones are my favourite... I WANT THEM! Have got some red toile fabric and I think I'll steal your project and make a couple this weekend - hope you do not mind, my dear! Will be back again soon for more of your shabby lovelies. Fondly rita
Hi Sissie Sweetie... Oh my gosh I can't believe the beautiful pillows that you have mastered. They are just exquisite. I love the first one for all the little details are so beautiful. The second one ofcourse, who doesn't love ballet slippers? That is just gorgeous, and I love having the rough texture of burlap mixed with the satin look coming from the ballet slippers.
The last one is so beautiful as well.I love the black and white with your pinked rosette. So beautiful sweetie. I would love to sit and watch you create for one day. How fun that would be. You have a way with that sewing machine of yours.
Your finds, that mirror ofcourse is absolutely devine. I so adore it. So many places you could be a mirror like that. And who would love the beautiful crocheted pillowcases? The pink is just breathtaking and so feminine. Love it.
I would so love to have that last room to create. Oh my gosh is that gorgeous or what? To have all that shelf room to lay my fabrics. If you find one of those rooms, could you get me one too? Love it.
Sissie, everything you made is so lovely!!! I just love rustically woven linens! And the prints are just perfect!!! Wherever did you find the label in your 1st picture? Are you giving away the secret??? I have YET to try the iron-on transfers and I have a whole book of French designs that I would love to use! It's called "French Pages" Ready-to-use scrapbook pages "Instant Memories" by Anna Corba. It's only $14.95 and comes with a CD to print! AND you can cut out the pages if you'd rather do that because they're only printed on one side! I'll bet Amazon has it used for less even!
great pillows, I wish I could sew... anyway, you are so right about my pooches being spoiled rotten, but they are also 14 years old and need a bit of pampering...smiles
Sissie, please send me some of your energy! I'm still trying to get the house back in order from being sick for almost 3 weeks! I can't wait to start crafting and creating again...
Wow Sissie - you've been busy haven't you? Now don't forget, you can drive right out of that snooty neighborhood and go pickin somewhere less conspicuous! xoxo, Kim
I love your pillows! The ballet slippers one is sooooooo pretty! I wish I had a little girl's room to decorate! Hopefully you didn't have to resort to drastic measures like I did to stuff my pillow!
