Would you pass these up???? Revisiting an Old Post from 2010.

Would you pass up this piece of gorgeous linen just because the monogram wasn't yours????  Not me, no way, no how.  If it's gotta monogram on it, then I will snatch it up faster than you can say
I'll take it!
Ah, don't you just love the feel of vintage linens and the soft patina
that makes vintage linens so desireable.  This particular piece lays over a bed pillow.
A delicate handtowel, that I would dare anyone to
dry their hands on! Ack!!!

Wonder who "R" was ??

I'm not sure what this initial is, "A" maybe?

A pajama bag, so pretty!
Would you drool over cutwork lace??

Or, monogrammed sheets......delicious, yum!

What would you do, would you pass them up?
~~hugs~~

What a beautiful collection you have Sissie. One of my favorite things to collect...I would certainly NOT pass those up! I too love the feel of vintage items, especially when they have that crisp cotton feel. If only I lived closer, your shop would certainly be one of my favorites!

PS...Our Walmart doesn't carry those fleur de lis transfers :( However my in laws are in the US right now so I should see if they can find them for me while they are there.

I love your blog!!!!! Come over and visit me at my very first try at blogging only 2 weeks new! , but I am sending this to my mom....I'm almost positive that "A" is a letter of the Jewish Alphabet...or something of that nature....let's see.
I loves linen and 100% cotton!!!!!

Oh they are so loverly!!!!! You made me chuckle because someone sent me two vintage hand towels with beautiful embroidery on them. I promptly hung them in one of my guest bathrooms with a big sign that says, "Don't even think about using these. There are hand towels are the towel bar behind you."

Hi Sissie... I love monograms too, but I don't seem to run across too many of them here in S.TX. Would I pass them up... most likely not... especially the "R"... for Ricky... ;)

Sissie, these are just absolutely exquisite. I have one twin sheet from when I was living in Portugal that is very similiar to the ones you've shown. It's been sitting in the bottom of my hope chest for, eggads, over 40 years! I'll have to pull it out and look at it.

I see you accepted my invite to Etsy Cottage Style!! Yeah!!
