Pink Saturday Happiness

Hi Bloggerettes! It's Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound, so let's get started!

Sissie's and Mr. Sissie's Shabby Cottage has been power-washed, all outdoor furniture has been cleaned and the garage floor has been painted.  It's so clean and fresh smelling around here, that I'm smilin all over the place.  There is something about "clean and fresh," that makes me happy.

Like lovely vintage linens in a pretty basket sitting out in the grass.

Like my Mom's childhood rocking chair sittin on the porch filled with a wooden box of flowers...
Or, a big puffy, ruffly summer pink pillow...

Or the smell of all things lavender and the beauty of freshly picked
hydrangeas from my garden...

                        What makes you feel happy?

                                           ~~hugs~~

Be sure to visit Beverly for more
Pink Saturday goodness!

I cleaned our outdoor tables and chairs last weekend. I felt pretty good after that, to know it was done. I always feel good though when I can get the weeding done and my beds look neat and tidy again.

A warm breeze, the garden plants swaying, and the smell of something wonderful on the grill! Ooooh, and sheets off the line are truly great too!

Hi Sissie! Yes, there certainly is something to be said for "clean and fresh" after living with a clogged sink for two days! My dishes are clean, and the sink has been bleached! Oh, it was just the perfect day today.. Beautiful weather, time with both my kids.. A nice dinner, then a walk with the dog! Hope you're enjoying your weekend too! LOVE your summer pink pillow.. Oh! and that beautiful rocking chair on the porch! I'm sure I could sit in that for hours, if not all night, just taking in the breeze and the lulling sounds of the night.. gazing into the stars! (sigh)... Happy Pink Saturday to you, and enjoy the rest of your weekend! ((hugs)) ~tina

I love all your beautiful photos.
We've been sprucing up things around here, too.
A little fresh paint here and there, making new pillows for the front porch swing. Remember, there's a porch party going on in June..June 21, so we must hurry hurry hurry to make things all pretty for THAT...I joined in last year and it was such fun and so many pretty patios, decks and porches. Rhondi at Rose Colored Glasses is the gracious hostess.
