Baby loves Vintage

Hi Bloggerettes!  I just had to share this cutie with you.
When I found this little wooden baby highchair it was a brown color.
I painted it a soft green and made little cushions for the seat and back.
I gave it to my sister, who at the time was expecting her first grandchild.
Now, eight months later, here's my sister's granddaughter, Payeton
enjoying her pretty, old chair.  Isn't she the cutest?
So in love with vintage already....gotta raise em right!

Wonder how many little babies were fed in this sweet vintage chair?
It even had a worn rung where the Mother probably placed her foot when feeding her little one.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

~~hugs~~

Ahhhhh - how sweet is she? Good girl for turning her on to the vintage at such a ripe young age! :)
Do you do that too? Wonder who did what with a particular piece . . . if only they could tell their story.
Very cute post!
Have a great day! Karen

I am going to be painting my daughters high chair. I want a matt finish but I'm not sure that it would work for stain resistance, and durability. What kind of paint did you use?
You did a gorgeous job by the way.
Thanks for posting!

She's sooooooo cute! And that pillow is just the cutest thing ever too! Sigh, as a mom of two boys, I'm the only one in my house to appreciate all things girly and frilly!

How pretty, Sissie! I was going to say start the little ones off right and add a ruffle in there somewhere, but I love the cushions you did for it! : )

That is an adorable high chair!! Love the cushion! Oh that baby is the cutest! Love old high chairs. I have my Mom's that she and all her siblings sat in, most of the grandkids at one time or another and then I got it for my girls. No tray (lost long ago) but the chair is super special.

Love how you refinished the highchair. The sweet cushions add so much to it, too. And that precious lil model is such a doll! I've been trying to talk my daughter into naming her soon-due baby Peyton if it is a girl ~ different spelling but oh how I adore that name!

Big TX Hugs,
