This and That

Hi Bloggerettes!  Not much going on here at Sissie's Shabby Cottage.
I'm kinda takin a little break because my Sister is in town.  She and her hubs are staying at the beach this time rather than here.  She's a real sunworshiper and me, not so much.  I just burn and freckle and she gets a gorgeous golden tan!  It's not fair I tell ya.

Anyway, we plan to get together tomorrow to shop, eat and shop, giggle and shop, drink mocha lattes and shop, talk and shop, cry because we live so far apart and then shop so more to chase aways the blues.

I cannot get enough of this sweet wicker piece I found the other day.
I'm still playing around with it.
See the small pink pillow in the front.  I ordered it a few years ago on ebay and I can't remember who made it.  It sure is pretty though.

Talk about going from the pretty to the ugly, just look
at this pitiful little chair I found.  I have plans for it and will show you later.  Isn't it sad?

Just a little flufflin in the diningroom...

Just had to show off my giveaway win from
Rosemary was featured in the new issue of Romantic Country magazine. And to celebrate she gave away one of
her beautiful crowns and now it's mine!!
Just look at the sweet artwork that she creates.
She is so talented and very sweet.
So stop over and say hello and congratulate her.

My little bunny topiary likes this sweet crown a whole bunch!

Thank you Rosemary, I love it!!

Isn't Rosemary wonderful? She's one of my favorite Bloggers. She just creates the most fabulous things and she's such a sweetheart. I know you will enjoy getting to know her!

Oh Sissy...thanks for stopping by and for your precious comments! I have always thought we were kindred spirits...I think that is one of the MANY reasons I love visiting here!

Your wicker piece is GORGEOUS...I adore all of the pillows! I am still messing with my wicker chair in my family room...one of my many projects...waiting for the girl to finish my toile cushions...I tried to cover up their absence with the throw;)!

I am going over to Rosemary's to see if she has anymore of those crowns...I have a bunny or two with a bare ear;)! Love it!

Thanks again...darling girl!

Bonjour Sissie,
We do have alot in common. When I'm in the sun, I turn into a freckle face. Oh well I've learned to stop fighting it, and I bet you look so pretty with freckles.
Have a good time with your sister. Hopefull you'll have a little time to spend in that wicker couch!
Rosemary looks like a talented lady, I'll head off to visit her now.
Hope your week is off to a good start!

Hello Sissie,
How are you?
Congratulations on your win!!
I hope you are having a great time with your sister.
You are just like me. I do not tan at all. I burn and freckle, I worshipped the sun as a teenager, and now I am paying the price!
There are five girls in my family... and two of us don't tan very well.
Have fun with your sister!!
Sending you a big hug,
p.s. I Love your wicker chair that you found!!
I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and leave me such sweet comments. It means a lot to me...

The wicker piece is divine!!! I do love me some wicker. Found a cute little wicker chair a few months ago. Paid $40 which I thought wasn't too bad. It's hideous yellow right now but plan to paint it soon. Love, love, love your blog...you are one stylish lady!

Hey sweet Sissie,
Your comment yesterday made me feel so good. That was of course after I wiped the coke that spewed out of my mouth off the computer screen. Really tho, I feel the same way. Love you!
Okay, back to the sister thing. Please wear black.
That cool funky chair will be sissified in no time flat. I could see you covering the seat in some of your pink burlap with a stencil over the top. Painted white of course. Then you can put it in the little guest room where I stay. Lisa
