Where does creativity come from????

Hi Bloggerettes!  Did you ever create something so lovely that you just know that something unseen took hold of your hands and created it?  I know, sounds weird but I think most of you know what I mean.

It's like something you would have never created on your own.  Where did the idea come from? Where did the inspiration come from?
Why did it suddenly hit your brain that this is the way something is supposed to look?

In other words, you create something so beautiful, that you are overwhelmed!  I call my creation "Chantilly Lace."  A chandelier image from Graphics Fairy, a little burlap and some vintage lace trim.
I don't mean to brag, but dang this one is purdy!

Not everyone is going to  like what you created or consider it anything special....but you do and that's what matters.

I'm still stuck on what to do with this one.  It's pretty the way it is, but I always feel like it needs more.  Any suggestions?
I just want to show you a few little vingettes from Miss Minnie's Antiques.

Gosh, did yall see my follower count!  Wow, it's at 599!!!
You know what that means....a giveaway is about to happen!

I cannot believe that I have so many followers.  I appreciate that so many of you have supported me and encouraged me to
be a part of this wonderful Sisterhood of Blogging.
My life has changed for the better just having all of you in it.
I love you all and you are so very important to me.
Thanks for being my friends.

~~hugs~~

Your pillows are so pretty. I love the last one but my favorite is the lace edges. You said something missing on it. If I recall you have done rosettes, what about a lace or doilie one that matches the edges. It would be something that does not take away from the beauty of the edge. Anyway you asked and I hope it helped. Have a wonderful day and stay cool.

Hi Sissie, Your pillow with the image of the chandelier is so darling, I really love it! I also love the other pillow that you haven't decided how to finish just yet. I was thinking you could sell that with the plain front and if someone sends you the image they want on it, like a family photo or a photo of a pet you could put their image on the pillow for them. That would be so much fun, they could customize their own pillow. Can't wait to see what you decide to do with it, I know it will be beautiful! I hope you had a great weekend!

Sissie,
I know just what you mean about something you are making turning out well. It seems as though you can't make a mistake and you instinctivly know what goes together and it sews up beautifully. While at other times you struggle all the way through a project. You cut something out wrong, have to rip most of the seams and restitch, and then notice you cut a hole in the front while you were ripping a seam. When that stuff starts happening, I usually put it down and come back to it later. I never thought about there being an actual force that was there helping you along. Maybe when things go wrong it's that inner voice telling us not to make it that way and we just aren't listening. Very insightful my friend. And congratulations on 599 I'm sure it's over 600 by now.

I am just about to have a hissy fit for one of your beautiful table runners but I would like to know just how long one is supposed to be...I mean, is a runner supposed to hang off each end of the table, so that the pretty ruffle shows up so good? I have alwys liked that look. My table is loooong.!!
Would you email me at bjconklin@xanadoo.com
I'm sure YOUR email address is on here but I haven't found it yet...

Beautiful pillows- And I think other one you showed looks great as it is. I think it's beautiful and simple, so you can up the ante on the bedding it could be partnered with. Like long billow-y white linen bedskirts.... I love the chandy you put on the the other pillow, gotta love Graphics Fairy!!

Pretty, pretty, Sissie! That new chandelier pillow is just gorgeous! I'm sure that over the years I've had that feeling on occasion. Although, most of those times I was more in disbelief that I actually pulled something off so well! : ) I love your other pillow just as is. I think it lets that lacy ruffle have the attention it deserves.
