Airing Out Your Dirty Laundry and Vintage White

Hi Bloggerettes!  It's time to air out your dirty laundry...

In this sweet little, shabby vintage clothes hamper.
Check out the canister that held scent.

Found it at the GW.  Gave it some heirloom white spray paint treatment.  It's going to my booth first thing in the morning.

I finally put the finishing touch on this darling vintage white pillow.
I added a vintage linen collar and vintage pearl buttons.
The vintage collar was inspired by Lisa at Tarnished and Tattered.
She posted about some wonderful pillows she designed and she used a vintage lace collar.  Thank you sweet Lisa.
The long lace was made by cutting a vintage towel in two pieces
and creating long flowing ruffles for the edges.
It's finally done and I'll be listing it in etsy.

Well that's about it for today.  I'll be heading out in the morning for
some yard sales and an estate sale.  Hope you find or create something wonderful this weekend.

                                            ~~hugs~

I have looked in alot of stores and cannot find this kind of old hamper. I don't think they make them anymore... too bad really. They were nice. They don't make alot of things like they used to anymore unfortunately. Thanks for sharing this lovely post!

Love the pillow, Sissie! I've been saving a piece of vintage pink sheer lace collar for just the right T-shirt. Haven't found it yet. Maybe a pillow if one doesn't turn up. Love the way you've let the ends drape.

Hi Sissie,
I love the finishing touches on your pillow, it's gorgeous! I have never seen a hamper with one of those little things to put scent, that is so neat, great conversation piece! Have a great weekend. Sorry it took me so long to get around for WW, think is should be WW, WT and WF for me... I am a slow mover I guess. Happy day sweetie.

Seeing that pretty hamper reminds me of one I have in our bathroom {for towels} that the top is starting to come apart. Of course, I've had it for like 20 years, so I guess it's time for a new one! I think I'll go with white this time!

Sissie,
A D O R A B L E Pillow. What a great idea to use the collar Lisa had, and you did it all so beautiful. (thanks for sharing your tip on the ruffly edge, without gathering!!!) =)
I have wonted for a long time to make some pillow, just have not figured out how to do it all yet. =) I even have a whole basket of gathered treasures for it.

Thanks for coming by my Somebunny loves me pot. I'm pretty frustrated right now with computer things not working as they should.

hugs, smiles, and blessings

Well, you have been one busy gal while I was celebrating my birthday all over the state of Florida! Thanks for the birthday wishes, I have one more small celebration this weekend, but at least it's at home. I didn't celebrate this much when I was a kid and I'm plum wore out!

I did manage to get out to a few garage sales while I was on the other coast and thanks to you, I now look at things with a new idea. I just think to myself, what would Sissie do with this, lol.
