I'm back !!

Hi Bloggerettes!  Gosh I missed you, but I'm happy to report that I had some wonderful "sister time!"

I haven't had time to post much but I will show you some pictures of her lovely porch.  We were able to sit out there quite a bit because the weather was really comfortable and cool.

Can you believe these two Lazboy Rockers on her porch, and wow, are they comfortable.  Oh, I think I forgot to mention that she owns two Lazboy Furniture stores!

Check out her drop dead gorgeous, 2die4 white mirror from Horchow...

I love porch swings.....wish I had one. (sigh)

We found this chair, well actually two of them, in an antique store several years ago.  When I moved, she was storing one for me
and I can't seem to get it back, you know what I mean.

This was our dinner the night before I came home.  A good ole
country "stick-to-your-ribs," kinda meal.
Oh, yall didn't think she cooked this did you???
Nope, it's from one of our favorite restaurants.

The highlight of my visit was this sweet little baby girl,
my sister's first grandchild.  Ain't she sweet and cute!

And this is my Sister, Kim...

I had a wonderful time with my Sister and of course, we shopped until we dropped, and giggled and ate and ooh and aahh'd over the baby.
It's good to be home, I missed my bed!
I'll be showing you some of the things I bought soon.

~~hugs~~

Hello, First time visiting with you.Enjoyed your site.Lovely,I always wondered what it would be like to live with all white. My grandma had an all white living room in the 50s but when us kids came over we never went in it.She once had it covered in plastic covers and runners, It was funny for the whole family. Now I see women really living in their white rooms and dont know how you do it with kids but its so pretty. Nice visiting with you ,thanks.Denise, from Denise's Delights

What a pretty porch. Love the pillows on the swing and I wish I had a swing, too. I have to hang it from a tree, but that's o.k. Glad you had fun and glad you're back.

Decorating skills run in the genes, don't they? It's all so pretty and charming. How does she keep upholstered furniture outdoors on a porch? Has it been covered with outdoor fabric?

Her granddaughter is an angel! And she looks so much like Kim in that shot!!! Wow!
