Glitter, Bling and Vintage Lace!

Hi Bloggerettes!  Let me tell you how I used glitter, bling and vintage lace....you know, the basic daily requirements of blogging.  First, the glitter.

I've had this hurricane glass globe forever.   I broke the base ages ago and just stuck the glass in a cabinet and forgot about it.  I found a gold wine bottle coaster, painted it white and then glittered it too death!  I glued it down to the opened end of the hurricane glass, embellished it with a ribbon and crystal and now I call it a cloche!!  Kinda looks like it's wearing a crown.

Love the silver deer from Pottery Barn.  I bought them last year and I think they are still available.
Now for the bling...

This is what I call a very girlie pillow.  The rosette, the feather ribbon and the big bling helps it to qualify for girlie, girlie!
I made it using pink chenille fabric and the big round crystal is from an old pair of sandals.

The vintage lace...

I made this pillow using this sweet Christmas image from the
Graphic's Fairy.  I added the Joyeux Noel. I then printed it on a fabric sheet and sewed it onto burlap.  I added the vintage lace trim for an extra pretty touch.  I just love how it turned out.
Isn't it adorable?

Look closely at this image.  Isn't it as cute as can be.
The little darlings trapsing through the snow carrying lanterns to light the way.  I love their little fur trimmed coats.

This sums up three very important daily needs for survival...glitter, bling and vintage.  So what have you created lately using these essential elements???

Be sure and stop there for lots of pretties.

Everyone go out and make it a good week.  I hope you find, create, write or inspire something wonderful and share it with us.

~~hugs~~

Yes, those are the necessities of life, aren't they? Your repurposed cloche turned out great, such a wonderful idea! Today I used glitter and rhinestones to make some decorative tags! Ok, I guess I use glitter just about every day!

Oh Sissie, this is why we like your blog, it has all the components we love. Those pillows will sell in a heart beat! I love both of them. I am just starting down the burlap road, I have to say since it unravels so easily it is not my favorite to work with! You are going to have to let us know how your new booth is doing. I had a slow start to the month, but we are in the middle of our big Thanksgiving sale and I was in helping Friday. We had a line down the aisle to check out! I saw a lot of my stuff sell, but really needed to make up for the rest of the month.
