Pink Saturday and Sewing Room Essentials

Hi Bloggerettes and Happy Pink Saturday!  Be sure and visit Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for more pink goodness.

Don't you think that every sewing room, studio or the room where you create deserves some pink.  Mine has some, bet yours does too!
In my opinion pink is essential to your well being.

Like a really pretty vintage pin cushion, in pink of course...

Some pink toile fabric window coverings....

Sewing machine drawers turned ribbon and snippet containers...
I  think the sides of these are so pretty...

Vintage wooden spools are great for organizing laces and ribbons...

Pretty pink fabrics are a definite sewing room essential...

Pink ribbon is important too....

And, a nice place to flop when you need a break...

Everyone have a great weekend!  Hope you find, create, write or discover something new and wonderful!!!

                                             ~~hugs~~

Happy Weekend, Sissie!

I read once that every complexion looks beautiful in pink... so I started wearing pink, I painted our bathroom pink, but I had to change it, too much grumping from the guys over here! Your room is so beautiful, it looks so inviting. And the pincushion, be still my heart! So I bet you guessed it Sissie, I love all of your pinks! Theresa xoxo

I love this room, Sissie! It's just so pretty to look at. I love the drawer you use for ribbons and the spools are a great idea for the lace. I agree with you about the pink and if you recall that saying, "I'm in the pink", it probably does make you feel good!

Your craft room looks so soft and pretty. I'm a sucker for toile in any color, but your pink is so lovely. All your displays are so nice if it were me, I'd be afraid to work in there because I'd mess the room up. My craft area always looks like a tornado has hit by the time I'm done making something!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Sissie..thanks for telling me you put things away and cannot find them. I do it way too much! :)
I am going to do a tiny white tree in the living room this year with pink decorations.
Your decor is just precious and my living room is slowly turning white. There is something about shades of rose and pink that are so ...satisfying to the soul. You know?
I LOVE your blog!
HOW I would love to visit your booth!
This is the next best thing!

I love the room. So many wonderful ideas. I recently purchased sewing cabinet drawers while at our vacation home in Kentucky. I'll have to wait until we take the motorhome back this spring before I can get them to my sewing room. I too plan to display vintage laces in the drawers. I just love all you did with your sewing supplies.
