Pink Toile

Hi Bloggerettes!  I'm sure everyone's busy with Holiday stuff but there is still time for decorating non holiday too.  I made these pink toile panels and had them hanging in the guest bedroom.

When I placed all of my vintage and pink ornaments on the dining table it screamed for more pink in the room!  So I moved the pink
toile to the dining room and here they are.  What do you think?

I am probably committing a major decorating faux pas
by mixing fabrics but I think the giraffe fabric on the bench adds a sense of fun and whimsey, yes?

Gabby and Gizzy say hi!

~~hugs~~

Hi Sissie :) I really love the Pink Toile panels in your Dining room, and no, you are NOT commiting a faux paux ~ actually, I think it really looks good together, not to mention that there is some soft shades of brown in the toile. When you use different patterns and textures, it all works well if they all carry some of, or all of, the same colors, whether you use plaids, stripes, florals, etc... so Sissie, from what I can see of the picture, you did a very good job!!

Warmest hugs, Brenda

You know Sweetie I love the look of a few patterns in a room and yours looks lovely. I adore the pattern in your toile, so soft and pretty. Lord knows I'm not a beige person but there are many that love it. Honoring our differences makes life fun doesn't it? Just do what makes YOU happy. I must also say that your diningroom table is stunning. I love all those spindles going on in the center.

Sissie, that room just could not get any prettier. Those toile panels are the icing on the cake. You do know that animal print counts as a neutral and goes with anything don't you? The toile and that animal print on the bench are perfect together!!

Glam!!!!!!!!! And no faux pas with the giraffe print. Even the mucky mucks on TV say that animal prints go with anything. They are the new black.

Sissie, I guess we are sisters separated at birth! I just put up pink silk panels in my living room that I had in storage because I thought my room needed a little something....I'll be posting on it today! Your toile panels are perfection in that room and one of my sayings is "you can always add a little leopard...." I would amend that to say giraffe as well!

I'm usually perfectly happy to see patterns mixed. Those toile curtains are gorgeous, Sissie.
