Sissie...I had to wear the Spanx thing on several occasions this past month and I went through the same thing trying to get the darn thing on. I really worked up a sweat and really thought it would never happen. Once I did get it on it was okay and I felt like I didn't have to hold anything in. ;-D

BTW...from your pictures, it doesn't look like you need one!! Funny story! Really made me smile!

XO,
Jane

Oh my gosh, Sissie! You had me laughing so hard I was crying! I bet you anything that a MAN invented Spanx! Yes, they invented Spanx to torture us! I've never tried one (and I never will!), but I did try on one of those "Miracle Suit" bathing suits once, and I could barely move! I can't imagine trying to actually swim in one of them!!!! Have a very Happy New Year!

Oh Sissie! You are one hot mama and don't you forget that! Sounds like my wedding slip thingey I wore underneath my dress to make my waist look tiny. I borrowed it from my sister who is tiny and I am not...it was sooooo tight I couldn't eat anything, literally! Be glad you did not wear it. Plus you are an excellent writer! Fabulous I took that ride as if I put on the danged thing AND whoever invented these ridiculous contraptions must have had a bit of testosterone running through her, sorry spanx lady. Whew! Glad you lived! Love it all and happy new year saucey mama!
Squishy hugs,
Olivia

Oh my gosh! That is TOO funny! I'm sure skinny girls wouldn't 'get it', but I do!

Oh Sissie this is so funny! When Sara got married I tried some new 'under things' to help smooth and reduce. Not pretty! I gave up but did get a bra that put the 'girls' up where they use to be, of course it was uncomfortable as well..hell!! So this is super funny to me and yes from now on it's what yous see is what you get! Happy New Year! Linda

Am I the only person in the world who didn't see a difference at all when trying on Spanx?

As for other under thingys, those things are evil! That post would not have been funny if it wasn't true. And sadly it was 100% true for anyone who's ever tried to wear those things!
