Weekend Finds

Hi Bloggerettes!
I have a little of this and that to show you that I found
over the weekend.
First, is this sweet little wicker stool that I recovered using sweet pink fabric with a vintage dolie....

I found this great piece at a thrift store.
It's a vintage, handcrafted schoolmarm's desk...
The top opens for storage of books and papers and
the back has open book shelves.
All we did was sand it to give it some character
and it's now in our booth at Perfect Imperfections...

I spied these strange looking ducks in someone's yard and had to stop and take a photo.
At first I thought they were chickens but it turns out they are called
Muscovy Ducks.

And now for the piece de resistance....
A lovely shabby tole chandelier!!!!!

We hung it up in the our booth today and it looks great! Yes.

Found this sweet print at an estate sale.  The frame was dark so I gave it the shabby treatment with some chantilly lace paint and
lots of sanding.  I think I'll keep this one.
Look at her face.  I love it!

Everyone have a wonderful week.  Be sure to create, write, paint, sew, bake and find something beautiful to share.

Your stool, and the table, is absolutely gorgeus, both, and each in its own way- so beautifull, -you had your wonderfull hands do magic, again, Sissie.
Do you know that those ducks, are great eaters of those big brown "killer" snails,-that Europe is owerflowed by ,the last many summers::: do You have them in US,too???they eat all green they can find--therefore :killer snails-
Not a beautifull subject-sorry sweet.

You found them, covered one and painted the others all over the weekend? And it's still Sunday? You work fast! I'd still be looking at them wondering what to do with the stool and should I paint the frame and should I do anything to the desk or let it be. LOL They're all neat, but the chandelier... Ahhhhh.
