Thrifty and Vintage Pretties

Hi Bloggerettes!  Get a load of this great vintage cabinet that Peggie found for our booth at Fancy Flea.  It underwent some major change, but the paintbrush finger was faster than the camera click, so no before picture.

I found a vintage, shabby, crushed velvet, yellow and curvy
love seat sofa and knew it had to go to the booth.
Rachel Ashwell would love it!

This beautiful crystal chandelier is perfect in our booth.
The shabby, chippy and ornate mirror literally fell into my lap.
Another dealer was carrying it into the shop and I tripped him err,ah, he stopped to ask me if I would like to buy it!!!! Yes, yes!!!!

~~big hugs~~
Sissie

Love that sparkly chandelier, Sissie! Uh oh, it wasn't a "you break it, you buy it" transaction, was it? : ) My daugther was looking at some mirrors this past weekend when we hit a larger thrift store in our area. Nothing caught her eye there, but I bet she'd love this one!

Oh why oh why do I have to live so far away from your booth Sissie? That velvet love seat would have to come home with me...and that mirror and the cabinet and the.... All of it I'm afraid! You did such a lovely job on the painting of the buffet. It looks gorgeous!

I bet that sofa will sell quickly. There is an antique store near me that is out of the way, but many people shop there for older couches like that to recover since they are made better than modern furniture.

Love the chandy! That buffet is adorable too and gives people lots of options to leave it as is or to dress it up with a shabby motif or a painted embellishment. Nice you give people the option for so many different things to do with it.
