Finds to Show You

Hi Bloggerettes!  Wanna see all the great things I found last week?
Wanna?  I thought so.  Here goes...

Found this wonderful chair at an estate sale.  It was dark wood, so I gave it a shabby paint job.

The blue alabaster lamp looks perfect with the vintage lace shade that I made using lots of old laces and trims.
I couldn't resist the little pink chair and the teacup set.
Don't you just love this chippy vintage basket with all the pretty colors!

Can you believe someone handpainted this old vintage enamel pan.
Had to have it!

And, the old wooden greenish blue box...

I was lucky to win the bid on these two darlin end tables.
The competition was fierce!

Now for the piece de resistance!!
When I saw Jana's from Collected Treasures mannequin made from chicken wire....well I just had to have one. She was nice enough to send me directions on how to make it!
Mine is in no way as pretty as Jana's, so be sure you go visit her and see what I'm talking about.  She's also sweet as can be and ultra talented.
Here's my Wire "Chick"...

Okay, get out there and find, create, sew, paint, write, craft or photograph something beautiful and share it with the rest of us.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Oh Sissie, the chair and fabric are fabulous!!! and the lamp shade, I bet that was fun to make, I have to go look at this chicken wire mannequin. I wanted to tell you, all of my old books sold. I just was unsure, because I just didn't think my customers were tuned into the trends, apparently they are. I have got to find more old books.
