Trying to keep two booths going can be very time consuming. I've been visiting your blogs but I haven't posted comments as much as I should. (please forgive me) I hope to get back in the groove soon. In the meantime I'm enjoying photographing Gizzie. I think she matches the decor rather well....
I went to an auction on Friday night and got this vintage
Bakelite dresser set. It's very rare to find these with all of the pieces and more....
Found these cute plates at a thrift store...
Still loving my teacup print....
Okay bloggy buddies....get out there and create, sew, bake, photograph, find a treasure and have fun!!
~~hugs~~

Oh Sissie love the bakelite essemble. My great grandmother had a similar set and I have only part of it. Yes it is hard to find because they break throughout the years.
always love our finds
Au revoir

You are busy, Sissie! I love those dishes ~ very Springy! Is your cat trying to blend in with the chair? : ) That is a gorgeous print. I will have to backtrack your posts and read about where you got it again. It suits you so well!
Gizzie's a beauty! Fun dresser set and lovin' your pretty plates Sissie-enjoy:@)
Gizzie coordinates with that chair perfectly!!
I know the feeling! There are so many projects I want to tackle but a lot require spray paint and the weather just isn't cooperating. =( I love that Bakelite set you found. Stunning!

Sissie.....Gizzie is adorable. I miss my cat.
I love the dresser set. I've seen these pieces around but not a whole set. you are lucky to find that. The plates are cute too and so springlike.
I forgive you for being soooooo busy, hehe.

Hi Sissie,
I know what you mean about being a blogger slug. I'm having a difficult time juggling everything and commenting has taken a back seat the past couple of weeks for me too. I'm still reading all my favorites (like yours) but just not finding the time to comment like I would like.
Always love all the pretty things you post!

Gizzie is beautiful! Very photogenic.
It is so hard to keep up with booths or a shop and home and life, reading blogs and keeping up your own. I know all too well. We just get too many irons in the fire.
Love your finds.
Hi Sissie,
I know what you mean...I have periods where I am too busy but love my bloggie friends and I will quickly visit but like you I don't always comment...I think we all understand that! Anyway I love those dishes you found thrifting!! So sweet and cute..hope you are having a lovely Spring.

Gizzy coordinates quite well with your decor! I love your Bakelite dresser set! What a find. The plates are cute. I know what you mean about the blogging. I have been busy and have not had enough time to post, let alone comment. Trying to get back into the swing of things now.

Hi Sissie,
Amazing treasures....I can't imagine trying to keep two booths stocked! Treasure hunting is fun, but it sure is time consuming and that is only a small part of it!
Happy day!

I know exactly how you feel. I am a full time florist that works alone and try in my "spare" time trying to keep my etsy shop going. It it really hard to do 2 or 3 or 4 things at once. Love your finds especially the dresser set. ~~Sherry~~

Love the bakelite treasures you scored. Hey if you fell like laying off, don't feel guilty. Its BLOGLAND for Pete's sake...not the office.
Wow sweetie, if you're a blogging slug..I wonder what that makes me.lol!
Gizzie is a pretty little kitty for sure!
I love your new treasures. I know how busy you must be Sissie. You are always doing something wonderful for your booths or your home.

Hi Sissie, No worries from here. I am just glad you continue to post even when you are so busy. I am loving those plates..so sweet. Hope the rest of your week is wonderful:o)
Cheers,

Well, I'm being a slug along with you. Even though I haven't been commenting much I do enjoy your blog. Your bakelite set is awesome! Can't believe you found the whole set together. Nice find.
Oh Sissie, you are not even close to being a slug like I am! Ever since I got back from Florida, I just can't seem to get with it. I don't know if it just coming from fantastic weather or just missing my sister...I think a little of both. I am going to try and do better, as soon as I find something to blog about! Btw, I love those little plates!! So darling!~Hugs, Patti
You are always creating such beautiful things, it's no wonder you don't have time to blog. I get somewhat lazy with it myself, plus I don't always have much to say. Sure do wish I could go shopping with you. Our local thrift shop has old Tupperware and worn out tennis shoes!

I know exactly how you feel! Even if I don't get to comment often, I enjoy each and every post you create!

Hi Sissie, The dresser set is fabulous and I love the teacup print. I know how time consuming it is buying and decorating two shops. It's perfectly okay to be a blogging slug sometimes!
Take care,
Hugs,
Sherry
Hi Sissie, blogging sure is easier when you have more time on your hands. We are on Spring Break right now and enjoying lots of down time. The weather hasn't been cooperating at all. Dust, dust and more dust. But I am home keeping busy with all my crafts. That bakelite vanity set is very nice and such sweet plates. I saw your Pottery Barn pillow here, but it was just the cover and needed a long pillow form and I didn't know that I would find the right size, so didn't get it. :/ I loved the colors and pattern and wanted to use it in my living room during the summer with lots of beachy accessories. Oh well! Gizzie looks very comfortable in her surroundings. Have a great rest of the week. Tammy
I don't think you have been lazy about posting. I have been lazy about posting! I can imagine it is a lot more work keeping 2 booths going, even if you have a partner for one. It must be great when you find things ready to pop right into the booth. That's why I wish you lots of luck at your upcoming auction! The Bakelite dresser set is neat and Gizzie is a stunning diva of a cat!
Hi Sissie,
Oh, I love your post! and I want to say that those plates are amazingly adorable!!!
XO
Gizzie should hope you don't reupholster or she might be out! I have never been to an auction, I think they intimidate me a little! I am so tempted what a find
Carol
Sissie, I still love the pink teacup print too! I had 2 booths for a year. Down to one now. I know how time consuming it is. judy
Great treasures Sissie!
I wish i lived closer..i would love to visit your booth!
Pamela xo
How neat is that teacup photo. Lovely.

It does take a lot of time to blog and socialize with everyone. I wish I had more time. often I look and don't comment because I'm always so short on time. Love that dresser set. I've NEVER seen one with all of the little extras.
Excellent finds, sissie! I have one of those dresser sets that comes in it's original "travel" case. It's amazing.
Hi Your vintage linens are beautiful. I agree, it is hard to keep up with work and visit with everyone's blog. Happy Pink Saturday, Sunny109
