Looking for something to blog about...

Hi Bloggerettes!  I am fresh out of new things to write about.  I wish I could say that I have lots of new things to show you.  I wish I could wax poetically.  I wish I could wave a magic wand and dazzle you, but it just ain't happening.

Walking through the house with camera in hand I decided to show my guest/sewing room again.  If I keep adding pillows to the bed  pretty soon it's going to be nothing but a giant pillow!

I must confess I did not make the pink rosette pillow.  I found it at TJ Maxx.  It can't decide which bed it likes best.

See this sweet lavender print duvet.  I found it at Habitat and after washing and fluffing it up, I couldn't let it go.

This sweet birdcage on a stand was another great find.  It's in the booth waiting for a new home....

We are getting our home ready to go on the market.  I've decided that 3400 square feet of living space is just too much cleaning for this ole gal.  So, we are downsizing and hoping our home will sell quickly.  Wish me luck.

I hope to be back later with some new stuff.  Sure don't want to let my bloggerettes down.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Hi Sissie..I love your beds and all of the pillows! I am a pillow gal myself! (:>) I just love all of your pretties!

4 years ago we downsized from 3800 sq. ft, to 3400. But even that seems so much smaller...because the other house had more storage. We are collectors and have too much stuff!

We sat up in an antique mall for 2 years to sell off some stuff and yet we still have way too much!

It is a lot to dust and clean around...so I understand what you are saying...but when ya like pretty things it is just so hard to stop collecting and decorating...so it keeps on growing! ha! (:>)

But you sure do have the touch for making things beautiful! I enjoy following your blog!

Hi Sissie...your guest bedroom with all the pink and pillows look lovely. I love pillows as well.
Downsizing not only makes you get rid of "stuff" but I found that it also declutters your mind. I downsized from a 3500 sq. ft. to 1100 square feet after all my boys left the nest. I am much happier with less to clean but I do have a storage problem. just have to get creative with that one but you'll be fine. good luck on selling your house. Just don't give up blogging because I love to check in with you daily.
Your friend,
Linda

Hi Sissie :) I just LOVE your pretty guest room ~ I saw that same pink rosey pillow at our TJMaxx, and would have gotten it, but my "funds" had run dry by the time my daughter and I got to that store :( Wishing you much luck in selling your home :) You have such a lovely home, and I'm sure you will have no problem finding a buyer.

Hi Sissie Sweetie...
Your bed pillows are so beautiful. You know my weakness as well. I love the pink one too. Even though you didn't make it, it is stunning on both beds.

DH and I laugh every time I make the bed, as he says please no more pillows, I already can't see you over there. They just make the bed so lovely.

Love that bird cage as well. It won't sit long in your booth. It is stunning. So many uses for it.

Good luck on your house sweetie. I will have you in my prayers for a fast sale. Yes I would say 3400 square feet would be to much for me as well.

Many hugs sweetie and SO much love, Sherry

At least you have lots of pretty pillows to blog about! The birdcage was a great addition to your booth. That does it. I'm going to TJ Maxx after work today! Love the pink rosette pillow, and did you make the white one? You probably did, you are so talented. Before you move you should do a whole house tour. Your home is amazing, and I for one would love to see more! Good luck selling your home, this will be fun, change is always refreshing and you will have another project of making a bare canvas come to life when you get in your new home. Have a Happy Mother's Day Sissie dear!

If we get a vote, I chose bed #2 for the pillow. I'm like you and LOVE pillows so much that my family jokes at how many are on my bed too. In fact, I saw that same pillow at TJ Maxx and wanted it, except it was a little too pink for my bedroom. Therefore, I'll just have to admire yours.
