Now on to some more stuff. I did a little change of vingette on my newly painted dining room side table.
I found this great chair at auction and it cost me a total of $12.!!!
Whipped up a pretty pillow with my favorite vintage lace find....
I put a decal on this kinda bland round mirror and put it in my booth...
Okey dokey, that's it for now. I'm off to the garage to paint some stuff. I'll show you later.

I finished spray painting my first 'gold ornate framed' mirror, 'gold ornate' frame and a wall shelf, all antique white. We'll see how they do in my booth. As 'gold' frames, they did not sell.

Oooh I used to get very tickled over freshly cleaned carpet. Haven't had wall-to-wall in a few years since we moved and now we have wood throughout. I miss it sometimes. This is a lovely post as they always are. Hope you're having a great day.

Okey Dokey! That is such a midwestern term, when I lived in Minnesota everyone said it, when I say it now in Florida people look at me like I have grown two heads! That is such a good idea for the mirror. Nothing better than clean carpets than no carpets, except I have always loved carpet under my feet in the bedroom.

We used to have the same type of wool carpet in our bedroom and I loved it when we had it cleaned. In looking at the end of your bed, I think we have very similar ones...I noticed the wheat pattern right away. Love your chairs in the bedroom, too!

Oh, I sure do love a nice clean carpet too! I went to Florida to see my soul sister Shari of My Cottage of Bliss, about 2 weeks ago. One thing I asked hubby to do was clean the carpets while I was away. When I returned, the carpet was all nice and clean and bright! I was so happy! Love your pretty vignette! I just came across your blog and couldn't help but laugh when I saw you were from Ocean Isle....My husband and I both are from Columbus County and every Sunday afternoon we used to go to Ocean Isle and lay out on the beach and come back blistered......Another funny.....we call my grandaughter Sissy.......well girl, we have two things in common plus our common love of decorating and pretty things.....

Clean carpet feels so good on your feet! It just makes you feel better when you know the carpets are clean. Your new vignette looks great, but then they always do. I've been painting all day off and on. I think I'm liking the chalkpaint. It goes on really smooth but won't know for sure what the final product will look like until I get the wax on. Have a terrific Thursday Sissie!

Yes, I do get excited over clean carpets...I'm ashamed to admit it but we had our carpets cleaned over Christmas and we hadn't done it since we moved into the house. We've been here almost 9 years. OMG.....I am so mortified that I just admitted that! LOL

I know exactly what you mean. I am the same way when mine are clean. But it only lasts a few hours with mine, with 3 young children it is hard to keep the floor clean.

I've missed you! I'm commenting on this post instead of the Pink one because I LOVE your nice clean carpet & your clean bedroom! I have a nasty loop berber just deep enough to hide Lego's so I step on them & suck them up thru my vacume! We won't even go into the stains, so YES I get excited over clean carpet too. Love all your mirrors, chair, dining room stuff too.
