Here's the bed crown....
And here's the inspiration rooms....
Oh, how I want this painting!
Love all the pretty and different choices of fabrics used in this bedroom.
I took the bed crown to my booth at Miss Minnie's and it sold the next day. Darn. I wanted to keep it!
Okay, gotta go work on the nightmare chair!
~~hugs~~

Oooh, I love the simplicity of the first bedroom's crowns and I'll take the chandy and the bedding along with it, Sissie! I'd love to do one of those over a daybed I have in our spare bedroom. I think it would look so pretty.
Wow! Very inspirational.....I love all of them! The last one is my fav. Thanks for sharing these....Great ideas. Blessings!
Ah, those bedrooms are exquisite!! I love the crowns. Have a wonderful evening!!

I love the bed crown. I didn't know that was what they were called. Darn I wanted you to keep it also!
hugs,
Linda
Sissie, I am telling you toss that stupid chair! LOL I am tossing around making a bed crown for my bedroom. So glad I was able to get that bed crown for so cheap! I'm just kidding you, I didn't buy it. I wish I had, it would have been the motivation I needed

LOL @ Carol!
Sissie, your photos here are so pretty! I was just reading Romantic Country magazine and they had a little snippit inside about bed crowns, then, I see your post! hehe! Great ideas abound!!
Hugs to ya, Sherri
I never knew these were called bed crowns. Very pretty!!

Jane

Hi Sissie,
I got one of those shelves that I am going to turn into a bed crown too! I loved seeing those photos showcasing crowns! I have so many projects...so little time!~Hugs, Patti
I love bed crowns too, Sissie. The ones you have pictured are so dreamy! There's a great article about them in the latest issue of Romantic Country magazine. And I always thought those vintage Syroco shelves would make the perfect crowns! Now you will just have to find another one for yourself:)
I've seen half-moon table-tops being used as bed crowns, too! LOVE IT!
xoRebecca PS: GET YOU BUMM OUT IN THAT GARAGE AND WORK ON THAT CHAIR! YOU'RE SLIPPIN'!
:)
One of those would just make a room! Maybe I need one too. Anyway you probably made someone VERY happy. You do that all the time!
I have never heard of a bed crown, but have seen pics before. Now that would look lovely in my Granddaughters room.
Love the atmosphere of that first room and the painting is lovely! Good luck with the chair. Everytime I get a wild hair about doing something right then and there, no matter what, I always wind up making a bigger mess. :/ Have a good day! Tammy
Tres romantique! That second inspiration photo would have had me buying a crown....even though I wouldn't have a place for it in my home!!!
Hi Sissie, I have made one custom bed crown~it is called a coronet! I think that was very smart of you to add a pic of what someone could do with that shelf to convert it to such a pretty thing!! I love that image the most!
Oh, that crown is heavenly! I just read your chair post! Ha ha, put that chair in timeout! Go back to it when you have a tiny drop of loving feelings for it....you can do it! Plus, I think it is pretty cute how it turned out!
Hugs,
Olivia
I find that if I really like something I made or painted , that is the very thing that sells first.
I say it just shows good taste , Tee hee
Hi Sissie,
I love all those rooms. That is a gorgeous painting. I hope you find another crown you can keep for yourself.
Blessings~
I have been saving a curvy and ornate shelf that I have for the very same thing, once I paint the bedroom. I love your inspiration photo... that is just what I am dreaming of! I can't believe you took that beauty to the booth, I bet it was snatched up in minutes! Your nightmare chair turned out so sweet, just perfect for the beach cottage. I love blogland as much as you mentioned, never and i mean NEVER have I met so many amazingly talented people that all 'get' eachother. Happy Wednesday Sissie! t. xoxo
The bed crown is beautiful! I have seen those before but didn't know what they were called. I defintely would have kept it for my own bedroom! Now I think I'll have to keep my eye out for one to use at home in Arizona.
Candy
I love bed crowns! Like Candy, I have to keep my eye out for one too ;) Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. I'm your newest follower too!
