I've been making pillows today and waiting for "Irene." At least keeping busy keeps my mind off the impending hurricane.
I just finished this pillow. I'm in love with these wonderful graphics that I ordered from Graphiquesepia Etsy Shop. They print so clearly and easily. The sepia tones gives the image a vintage look.
I plan to make a few more using these new images.
Many of you have asked for a tutorial on how to do these images. So stayed tuned.
If you are in the path of Irene, I'll be praying for your safety.
Take care and batten down the hatches!

I was so enchanted with that grapic site that I almost forgot to come back here and comment. I'm saying a prayer for you in regards to Irene. I noticed on our news that it has been downgraded to a Cat.2 but we all know that can change at a moment's notice!

You're right! Those are some great images! Can't wait to see the end results!
Hope you are safe and dry this morning!!!!
Hi Sissie, thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Irene sure is big and will affect a wide area, but hopefully it won't be as bad as predicted. Just never can tell what will happen once it hits land. I'm sure flooding will be an issue in many places.
Your pillows are always lovely. And is that a vanity in your previous post? My goodness, it is so glisteny and shiny! I can't imagine anything like that around here with all the dust. :/
have a great day. Tammy
Oh yes, Irene is on her way...due to hit Boston on Sunday at 2pm. Sounds like she is losing steam already which is such a disappointment to all the weathermen. Stay safe!!
Your pillows are so beautiful. Love the graphics. Stay safe from Irene. Hope you aren't in her path.
Pillows are gorgeous....stay safe and know we are all praying for ya'll's safety.

O, Sissie, I do hope you can show us how to do this. Those pillows are so pretty. I am so craftyLESS, that I'm not sure I can do it, but I surely would love to make some for Christmas gifts.
Hang on tight thru the storm..God has answered the prayers of having the storm be reduced, so it's a Cat.1 now..pretty soon it will be a tropical storm.
xoxoxo bj

Please be safe! A friend of my sons just returned from visiting his sweet little niece who turned one in NC! I am glad he returned safely. I was babysitting his silly little dog! She had fun with the gang here! I have missed visiting you. Your pillows are perfectly gorgeous, just like you! Hugs Anne
lovely work.
How did you all make out down there, Sissie? I was thinking about you, hoping you were safe.
Sissie,
Youre such a sweetie...thanks for your comments on my master. Love your pillows..and your kitty is just so precious.,

That messy Irene wouldn't dare barge into your beautiful home! Thankfully it seems to be subsiding today, although I know much damage has already been done. Wish we could have at least gotten one rain shower out of the old gal, but no such luck. Love the pillows!
Gorgeous pillows, Sissie, I really like the script, so feminine -- stay safe!
Hi Sissie! Love your graphic-enhanced bags. I went to the etsy site you referenced and looked at some of their wonderful things. I might buy some things from them in the future. I saw your post over at "Primp".
