Getting To Know Me......

Hi animal lovers.  I know you've seen me here on Mommie's blog.
Wouldn't you like to know a little more about me............

I think we need to talk.  I love to tell everyone how I was taken to the orphanage when I was just a baby.  No one wanted us so my little sisters and brothers and I were taken away.  People came to see us in our cages and we said our little prayers every night that one of the peoples would take us to our forever home.

Then one day Mommie and Jeff came to see us.  I put on quite a show.  I pranced and meowed and purred.  I even did some tumbles and jumps for them.  They were impressed.  Before I knew it I was on the way to my forever home.

Not that I can blame them.  Just look at me.  I am a fine looking specimen of a furry female.  Mommie thinks I'm a Korat.  I sure look like one.  It is said that my ancestors are from Thailand and that I'm exotic and I bring good fortune and prosperity.....no wonder they liked me.  Umph.....who could resist me!

I now run the household.
The first thing I did was to set some rules around here.
Like having my meals on time, preferrably tuna and treats....lots of treats.
I like my toy basket kept full of fuzzy toys full of catnip.
And I am absolutely not to be bothered when napping!

Of course everything changed when they brought "her" in....
I'll tell you more about that some other time.

You know I really like it here.  I think I'll let Mommie and the gang stay.  After all....they say....."happiness is being owned by a cat!"

~~hugs~~
Gabby

And adorable you are, Gabby. How sweet of them to find you ... you are very fortunate to have them as parents. I'll bet that 'tail' of Gizzy will be a purr-fect one.

Maybe you would ask Mummy to pop by to help us bring 'purr-fect angel love' for a young girl who is sick.

Thank you.
Have a beautiful week ~

Aw....well, your Mommy knows that I want to reach right through this screen and claim you for my own. If she doesn't treat you right you just let me know. I have a beautiful, down-filled bed here for you and an automatic treat dispenser..and I am a great ear scratcher. What time should I pick you up?;>) xo Diana

Oh, Gabby, it looks like you won the jackpot when you found your forever home. You are certainly one of the 'lucky ones'.Your eyes are amazing and I do think you are a special breed (not that it would matter). You are the colour of our little Audrey and she's drop dead gorgeous, too. Looking forward to seeing more of you. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x4

Gabby--I think your Mom is right, I believe you are a Korat. I used to show cats so I know a little about it. One thing for sure is you are beautiful, and lucky to have such a loving family and beautiful home to live in!

Not to offend a guest blogger, but Gabby you would not be able to live at my house. I am highly ALERGIC to you and your relations! I do agree though that you are quite lovely.
