I basically got nothin......

Hi Bloggers, I basically got nothin!  I've been in a real funk lately after dealing with some difficult people.  I started to share my thoughts on this but decided not to make my blog about such things.
I also realized that if I did post on it that I would be handing over my power to someone else.  One thing I will say is this....
once hurtful words are said.... they can't be taken back.

So, how about a closer look at some shelves around here.  This one holds my clock collection.  It's in the powder room and the lighting is terrible.
With flash....

Without flash.....
Still going with the Paris blue gray in the living room.
I painted these frames and added images from Graphics Fairy.

I know that many of you love the brown transferware and so do I.
I only have a few pieces and hope to add more.
This is a vingette created on the bookshelves in the living room.

Okay, that's it.
I am planning on going to the auction Friday night and hope to score big time.  If I do, you'll be the first to know.

~~big hugs~~
Sissie

Sissie-
I am so sorry that you were hurt by someone's mean words. You are so right the once those words are said, they can't be taken back. Wouldn't the world be a better place if we would all filter what we say? Hope you have a great day. Love your clocks!

It's amazing how the flash can really ruin a great photo. LOVE the painted frames and the graphics. I have always loved that graphic with the eggs. Never new what to do with it. Frame it like you did! Simple and beautiful. I think the color you painted the frames is perfect.

I feel your pain sweetie. I had something happen not too long ago with harsh and hurtful words. I have forgiven the person but I certainly won't forget. We just have to forge ahead and move on from the nastiness.

I LOVE brown transferware!! It's one of my favorites!

Sending Love!

First of all, I love everything! I wish I had one of those cute faces to insert. You're so right, Sissy, about the thing of giving power to someone else. You're doing the right thing. You're a strong woman! The vignette with the brown transferware is so pleasant to look at. And your clock arrangement is very nice. Your picture frames are very well done. I always love visiting your blog. You energize me and I love that!

I understand completely, Sissie. We're battling a few demons around here, too. There are so many people who don't know how to use - or don't have - an "edit" button anymore. Their words are hurtful and damaging to relationships. I now live by the mantra that our "friends" understand. Our "acquaintances" never will. And, we're only going to surround ourselves with "friends".

Wishing you a brighter day, my friend.

Hugs,
Donna

Oh you are just too sweet to even give anyone a second thought. I have a friend who so negative about everything and has such a nasty sneaky personality and so sad that I try to step away but we have mutual friends who don't get to see this side. We all have our moods but we should all have filters!! lol Love you and all your pretties you share. Hugs Grace OOOOOO

Thank you for my brown and white transferware fix for the day, Sissie! : ) Love the frames ~ I have that egg print in a frame on my dresser. I actually used the frame and the print to help me pick the Duck Egg color for the dresser. That shelf is gorgeous! I love it!

I'm sorry you had a difficult time recently. I know things like that eat me up inside and my anxiety kicks into high gear.

Good morning Sissie,
Some folks just don't know how to be nice. You, my dear, are being very gracious about it all! *Curtsies*

That is a cute shelf in your powder room. Love the chippy shutters too. And I LOVE your collection of brown transferware! Wishing you a delightful day filled with sunshine and lovely friends!

Blessings,
Sandi

goodness, how many times have "I got nothin"...lol I had to take a quick minute to leave this comment because mean people seriously suck. Why is it that women in particular still have the mentality of junior high when you had to be so competitive and hateful to get to the top of the heap. Don't these witches realize there is enough good, enough glory, and enough of everything to go around. Why in the world do they have to take someone else's happy in order to be happy themselves. I think it is because they have never known happiness for whatever reason and if they bring you down to their miserable level then they can at least take joyin the fact you are unhappy as well....whew....can you tell this is something I have strong feelings about....c'mon girls...be happy for each other :)

Hi Sissieness! I'm so sorry to hear someone said mean things to you. I admire you and appreciate you so much with all of your creativeness and talent. Probably the person who said hateful things was just jealous of you. Just know you have zillions of us who love you and will support you always. And you've just acted in a Biblical way by doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Bless you Dear One,
Shelia :)

Just looking for some kind words to offer after nasty words were given to you. I think you definitely chose to keep your power by not writing about it--good for you, sometimes that is sooo hard, but in the end it makes me feel more powerful and kind. May you have a wonderful day with wonderful people surrounding you!

Hi Sissie,

You are a lovely lady and I am sorry to hear someone has hurt you. I hope that someday they will be able to find some peace in their own lives and be gracious enough to be kind.
I love the silk flowers you found with the script on them. I have some sepia tone petals with script..but prefer the ones you found for a spring time arrangement.
I also love the brown transfer ware! I have a small collection of two items!! Lol

Love and Laughter,

Love each picture and the Paris Grey painted frames (that is the colour I use a lot too). What a great job on the shutters, they look worn and vintage. I love Graphics Fairy. I've framed several of her coloured pictures, love the eggs and her Christmas Santas too.Nice clock collection, not easy to find in my area. Sorry that there are mean mouthed people and that they hurt you. You are an artist both with your collections and your photos and love your words too.

Love your egg and bird pictures from Graphics Fairy. I have been downloading bunches of things from her site and the beautiful eggs are one of many beautiful images I've enjoyed.

Hi Sissie! I love the clocks, I only have two, one that reminds me of my mom and the other from Target:)
I always feel that the person who says mean things has very low self esteem in the first place so I just ignore because I refuse to go to their level of thinking. You were so right in not posting about it Sissie♥

Sometimes i wonder if people realize the impact of the things they say and do. Bad words and bad energy can be like a physical blow to the body. I'm sorry you got slammed like that.
Your shelf is darling with all the little clocks. Each one with it's unique little personality is so charming in all grouped together like that...
anyway, i know you may be grappling with the whole thing that happened... i think many of us can empathize...

hugs,
Cindy
