The art of negotiations...

I picked up this cutie at the Raleigh Flea Market.  At first I thought about passing it up since the price was a little high.  However, my sister flashed her cute dimples and batted her eyes at the dealer and he was smitten.  She bought a table at half the asking price, another table at an unbelieveable price and this little piece for a flirty fee!

It was painted black and now it's heirloom white...

And to think I was the one who told her to never accept the first price and to make a counter offer or ask what is their best price.
She caught on quickly.....I love it!
"the dimpled negotiator!"

This little garden chair is going to Miss Minnie's!

There is still more to come, so stay tuned.

~~hugs~~

What a lovely piece! Good negotiating skills too...that's the way to do it...and don't forget to not ask too low of a price so as not to insult the dealer. That's the worst!

Ha ha, always always ask... all they can say is no, and dimples don't hurt either. Very pretty.

What a pretty chair, Sissie! Is this the same sister that ended up with melted chocolate covered peanuts on her white pants?! I still remember you telling us that story quite some time ago!

You should take her with you everywhere! Sometimes you just have to be in the mood to negotiate. I know I have days where I don't want to wheel and deal and so will just walk away if I don't like a price. Cute piece!

ha-ha! She is a cute negotiator. I hate bargaining. That's why hubby comes along. And when he starts, I walk away and let him do his thing. Cute little chair. Have a great day. Tammy
