Changes in the Bedroom....

Hello Lovelies.  I hope that you had a wonderful weekend.  We had new carpet installed in the master bedroom and the entire house was a mess! 
I just chose a basic plush carpet in a color called "seashell."
This room is 16 x 41, so it took a lot of carpeting...

Now that we have new carpet....it's time for new bedding!

I wanted white and something lightweight for summer.  I chose this Mary Jane chenille spread with drop ruffle sides...

These pillow covers were found at a thrift...

The french pillow was found at Tuesday Mornings.

It's down filled and so soft and the color is a nice pretty taupe.

I'm thinking I need to cover a bench that I have and place it at the foot of the bed....and new lamps.....new accessories and a few pictures......and maybe some more pillows for the bed......umm, funny how one thing leads to another...
And, oh yes....I'd love a crystal chandelier......

Now get this....Mr. Sissie walks in and sees the bedspread for the first time and says..... "that's what you call the shabby look isn't it!"
I had to smile.  I love it when he pays attention!

That's it for now.  So get out there this week and create, make, sew, write, photograph, repupose or find something wonderful and share it with all of us.
