Happiness formula...

Happiness formula. Find some shutters, paint them paris gray and dab on some white with a dry brush...(guaranteed smile)
Mix in a pretty white pedestal tray with a stamped fleur de lis...
add a pinch of blue with an old mason jar and stir in some dried hydrangeas....just to make it interesting....(guaranteed satisfaction)

Glue together a smidget of mismatched plates with two part tea cups to form a tiered server...(better than new shoes...well maybe not...but still good)
Sprinkle in another jar and top it off with a frog lid....plop in a dollop of  daisies from your garden...(guaranteed grin)

Then if this ain't enough to serve up some happiness....
add a generous helping of a ceramic pot and ice it off with another fleur de lis...(guaranteed double latte grin)

Still too boring....then add a dose of  some mercury glass
topped with a few yummy shells...(better than ice cream)

There you have it....a formula for smiles and happiness.
What have you created this week that makes you happy?
I'd love to know.

I'll be taking a little blog break.
I'm meeting my sister Kim on Monday in Concord,NC.
We are going to The Depot at Gibson Mill.  A huge antique mall with over 460 booths and 85,000 square feet of fun!

Be back soon.
In the meantime be sure and get out there and create, make, sew, paint, photograph, write or find something wonderful and share it with us.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Gee, I'd be happy just with the tiered tray with the fleur stamp, Sissie! : ) I've got a few projects planned for this upcoming week that make me happy ~ that I'll actually be able to get to them and hopefully complete them all. Plus, I have that antique fair to look forward to on Friday.

Happy Mother's Day, Sissie!
