Loving real and faux flowers...

I've got flowers on the brain this week.  I've been planting up outdoor pots and fluffin up arrangements inside.  My hydrangeas have just started to bloom so I clipped a few to fill this fabulous galvinized bucket....

Fresh flowers always liven up your home....don't ya think?

But, if you don't have live then good quality faux will do too....
especially if you put them in a french basket!

Of course I can't let you go without showing you another burlap and lace bow pillow creation...

I plan to go to auction tonight
and maybe score something wonderful.
You can bet if I do I will tell you all about it!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

I have a white hydrangea. It is pretty much finished blooming here. I just love them. I too have faux flower bouquets. Happy Friday!

I just bought my hydrangeas yesterday, Sissie, and can't wait to plant them. Of course, it's raining today, but that's okay. I'm sure all the plants can use the water {it's been dry here}. I also bought some faux lilacs. I've seen so many bloggers with their real lilacs that I couldn't take it anymore. The scent is what I'd really like, but I'll take the visual right now. : )

I love the bucket your hydrangeas are in. Such a nice pop of color in your lovely living room. I have real and faux, too. I see nothing wrong with the faux ones.

Oh your flowers are fabulous, they look so pretty. Sure wish we could grow hydrangeas, but not in the desert. Love the faux too. Yours looks so pretty. Hope you find tons of treasures. Hugs, Marty

Hi Sissie, Your hydrangeas add a beautiful pop of blue in your lovely home. When we got home my bushes were loaded with hydrangeas starting to open up. Can't wait to bring some inside.

Your faux flowers look completely real ! Are even the roses silks??? And... your house is so so pretty, those blue hydrangeas look amazing with your soft creamy sofa and everything in the room. I copied your burlap bow on a lampshade i had, it worked great, and it also filters the light, thanks for the fantastic idea!
