Not much to blog about.....

I haven't posted anything new all week long and the problem is I just haven't done anything that's blog worthy or anything that I think you would find interesting.

I'll show you this hair brained project first.  I'm not sure what I was trying to do here and I'm still not sure what to do with it....but here goes....

Take one very ugly picture painted on some very cool wood, a pretty teacup and plate found in the mismatched section of the thrift store.....

Get out the heavy duty glue, the paint and other stuff and ....

I had an old spoon that was filled with lavender, so I stuck that on there too.

There is a hanger on the back so I guess it could be used as a wall hanging.  I made two.  I'm still not sure what to do with them.

I found this side table with an Ethan Allen label inside.  I painted it a soft creme and gave it some glaze.  It's in my booth waiting for a home...

This sweet little chair had some ugly fabric on the seating.  So I painted it!  Yes painted it!  Go ahead and give it a try because this turned out pretty and I believe the paint will hold up well.
This is where all my energy has been going lately.
I'm trying to keep the booth full and it takes lots of work....but hey I love it.
Miss Minnie's has been rockin and rollin this summer!

Sorry to stay away so long but I've enjoyed reading all of your posts and comments.  I'm hoping to have something more interesting for you the next time you stop by.

                                                ~~hugs~~

Well, believe it or not, I thought that was pretty interesting. Cute little wall thingy- I love the spoon on top to dress it up. Don't you love painting chairs? I did that more than 10 years ago and my dd is still using the pieces today. They have been through dogs and kids and hold up really well.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Sissie- xo Diana

I think that your wall hanging is just adorable! It actually reminds me of some of the Simply Shabby Chic items that used to be offered at Target a few years back. Really super cute! Love your booth too! xo
