Hello lovely bloggers. I have a question for you today.....where do you go to get away from it all....do you have a cozy little sitting area that belongs to only you...besides the cat....
Where you can put your feet up, grab a cup of tea or a glass of wine, your favorite magazine and just chill......
Of course it helps if it looks good too. Like lots of pink and flowers and french and toile.....all the necessary ingredients for total relaxation....
Where's your favorite little get-away spot in your home????
It's the weekend so be sure and get out there and create, make, bake, sew, write, photograph and find something and share it with all of us!
~~hugs~~

I'll be right there! lol
I have many niches where I like to hibernate for a bit of off time but none as gorgeous as yours!
You've created a lovely spot for yourself, Sissie! I have a few places I like to sit, depending on my mood and how often I have to get up and down {like if I have to keep checking on dinner}.
Oh sweetie, I love your "get away" spot- so lovely and as alwayes beautiful- as you I love those pink flowered fabrics and your white painted furnichures- gorgeous, dear Sissie- and that goes for your new header as well!!
Hugs and love,Dorthe
So lovely, Sissie.
I am blessed to have several sitting areas in our dear old cottage. I have a tiny sitting room right off the master bedroom that is filled with books, floor to ceiling, my absolute favorite.

That is so dreamy. Such a perfect spot! I love the silver candlesticks on the white tray. My house is too small. No extra rooms or space, but I'd love a little area just like that if I did!
Sissy, mine is at either end of my PORCH! I have a white wicker swing on one end corner. There is shade/filtered light with a wonderful breeze there. At the far end (around the corner) is where my 1950s metal glider is. That end of the porch gets the morning sun and I can see most of my side garden there....very peaceful. And that glider glides smoother than a babys behind! LOVE IT! Your HOMe is beyond BEAUTIFUL and looks very comfortable as well! From one sweetie to another....Roxie
Sissy, Because I am curious.....what is the title of the book under your lamp?
Cute little nook by the way!
: )
Your white tables are so pretty. A perfect reading spot!
I love your little getaway spot! It is so pretty and feminine--just what I love. I have a spot in the sunroom/crafty room. I have a chair and magazines set up and I always know nobody will sit in there with me because it is like the only room in the house that doesn't have a TV! But I am a Mom--and it seems they always find me anyway. Somebody always needs something:)
Sissie,
I love my visits here. You are a girl after my own heart. We have such similar tastes. Love the cushy chair, the shabby chic pillow and of course my favorite mag. I could definately sit a while.
Will visit again soon.

I like your spot better than mine!!
Hey Sissy, Long time no see, as my dad used to say! Lovely photos of your spot. I have a place, called my cozy spot. It is a tiny room with doors all around. My cat and I fight for the chair, and I have another for a guest. It's dark and warm in the winter and has piles of books and magazines. I try to keep it nice, and I can spend hours curled up with a good book. And I can see the front door, so I don't get surprised.
Its All Good!
Hugs,
Sherry
Sissie,
Love your new header and profile picture...so pretty! My special spot is out on the patio, of course it is starting to get a little hot in Orlando this time of year, but still nice in the evenings. I sit out with one cat on a leash and the other one in the stroller....Gizzy would be jealous LOL

You have a beautiful place to relax Sissie! I have a hard time believing you sit there very much though, with all the stuff you get done : )
My favorite place to relax in my home is the love seat in the living room. You can finding me napping there on any given afternoon.

I love going out on the sun porch to escape...but it isn't as lovely as your spot, Sissie.
Have a wonderful weekend.

My spot in the house is not pretty at all as it serves as my workroom, vege out spot..reading corner...blog update site...so ups and downs some times work and some times down time. my all time favorite is on the side of a mountain with a great view..
What a beautiful spot you have to relax. My style completely. My favorite is my chaise lounge by my fireplace or my studio to get away.

Your home is so lovely. How do you do it? Everything is so perfect. Thank you for the visit.
Love your little corner. I have my favourite chair ( rocking wingback chair, in desperate need of a re cover) but its right in the playroom. Good for watching mr 1!
complimenti!!! bravissima....una bellissima casa.. baci lu.
Your little sitting area is just lovly I would never want to leave... I have a little "sitting room" its a real tiny room 9x9 though it is open to the rest of the house (not a closed off room, no door) so it does not feel claustrophobic, it's the perfect place to sit and relax.
