Shabby Chic Candlelabra, mason jars, screen doors....things I bought while shopping with my sister...

As promised, here are a few of the things that I bought on my trip.
Believe me Sista and I worked really hard to find good stuff.....the only problem is that we both want the same things, so  we've learned to compromise or in some cases be the one that gets to it first!

She spotted this beauty and decided that it would be perfect for my booth.....I grabbed it fast before she changed her mind...(gasp!)

This fabulous shabby prom dress took my breath away.  I had to have it.  Even though it was dirty and dingy and was gray with built up dust and dirt.  A good soak and fluffing, she is now purdy as can be.....
I think she makes a nice prop for my booth.
I lucked upon this vintage jar carrier with the mason jars at the flea market.  Home with me baby!
Sista found these fabulous screens in the back of a shop.  The shop owner was thinking about throwing them out! No, no, I'll take them for $5.00!!  They are already gone from my booth.
Another great find is this metal bottle carrier.  I'm keeping this one for myself.  Right now it's parked on my kitchen table.

Be sure and stick around this week.  I've got more pictures of my sister's home to show you.

Now get out there this week and create, make, draw, paint, photograph, write, cook, repurpose and find something wonderful and share it with us.

                                           ~~hugs~~
                                            Sissie

Oh Sissie some great finds!!! Some of my friends are taking me out on an antiquing thrift store outing in a few weeks for my birthday and I sure hope I find some goodies like you! Would love to find a vintage dress like that!

I get to spend a little time with my 2 sisters this next weekend as

What great, great finds! You know that chandy? My hubby's family used to own a lumber yard and it sold everything from screws to light fixtures to furniture.

This chandy was sold in the late 70's and originally sold for $59...(quite a lot at that time) My friend bought two of them and used them as swag lights by her kitchen sink. Guess what? She still has them (I called her to see what she paid-and I THINK that was the company cost on them..rather than retail...because she was an employee there and could buy at cost). All your other finds are great, too! xo Diana
