What sister wants, other sister wants.....

Hi everyone!  I didn't mean to be away so long but I needed to tend to some family matters.  Anyway, I've missed you.

This is my sister's living room mantle....
This is my living room mantle.....

Are you like this with your sister or best friend.  We love the same things and have very much the same decorating style....must be in the decorating genes!

I hope to have some good stuff to show and tell you soon.  I just need to get back in the groove.
In the meantime, don't forget to get out there and create, write, photograph, sew, bake, repurpose, paint or find something wonderful and share it with us.

                                               ~~big hugs~~

This is amazing!! The mantels are so similar! I have 5 sisters and we couldn't be more different. Maybe because we don't live near each other.

I have missed you! Can't wait to see some new projects!!

XO,
Jane

So sparkley and beautiful! I think both sisters have very good taste!

Actually two of my sisters and I ended up with the very same bedspread years ago. It was from Belk. Mine was in blue, the oldest sister's was in burgundy, and the other sister's was in green. Exactly alike, just different colors. Then another time, both those sisters bought the exact same living room suite without knowing the other had it. It is funny how our tastes are sometimes similar, and sometimes so opposite. Love your mirror!

You'll never have to worry about what to get her for Christmas.....

My sister and I have different decorating styles , mainly because I don't have to defer to a husbands tastes . But we do end up dressed alike often without planing it.

My sister and I are nothing alike, but that could be 'cause I'm the middle child...and you know what that means!

Been missing your girlfriend. I'm going to take a long blog break after Christmas. I've got to have hand surgery and after that I'll decide what to do. Busy lives we all have, huh?

My sister and I LOVE the exact same things! Your post made me SMILE!

Welcome home Sissie!
You and your sister are decorating twins for sure!
I love both the mantels!!
Both of my sisters are totally opposite of me - one likes country and the other log cabin.
Not a pink or white thing to be found :-)
Sunday cheers,

Hi Sissie,
Oh my goodness, how beautiful your mantle's are..I love the mirrors and the candle holders, so romantic! I bet its very pretty when the candles are lit.
Yes in deed my sister and I did have the same likes (love) for the same things. We would always shop together and would eye the same thing at almost the same time..
How wonderful and special that you and your sister can decorate and share in all the fun together.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth

Sissie,
Love the mantle's! Love that Venetian glass mirror. I have a similar one and I just love it.
Lucky you. I wish my sister and I were closer. I live in the mid west and she on the coast. Wish she lived closer.
Blessings,
Elizabeth
