Living room progress...

I know that many of you have asked to see more photos of our new home, but the remodeling is still going on and I can't seem to accomplish anything until the master bathroom is completed.

I'm sure that many of you know that it's no fun living in your home during a remodel....in fact it's just downright awful.  No privacy, the place is a mess and you feel like life is in limbo.  Oh well, I'll keep looking ahead and thinking positive

Here's a look at the livingroom.  The new carpet is down and the walls have been painted in Behr's Vanilla Custard.  It's such a pretty and soft creamy color.  No pictures have been hung and I'm still trying to arrange the furniture, etc......

Found this odd shaped table at the flea market and gave it a coat of creamy white paint. I'm thinking it will fit somewhere in the living room.
A sister trip to Home Goods had me coming home with this soft and pretty throw. I love throws on the furniture in the winter time.
It just makes the room feel cozier.
So as you can see there is still much work to do on this living room.
Here's the before picture and I'd say the room has come a long way since then.
Today the sun was shining despite the storm that Sandy left on us this week.  My thoughts and prayers go out to those of you who were in her path. I hope that all of you have a safe and happy weekend.

                                                 ~~hugs~

Just think, Sissie, you are getting all of this work out of the way now, so you can move ahead on placing furniture and decorating. It will be worth it once it is all done.

Sissie, i didn't know you had so many nicknames! In the comments I saw Sisserina, and Sissieness, and i call you Sissiebelle... so funny. You just bring that out in us cause you're such a cutie. Anyway, your living room is looking so bright and pretty and the soft colors are wonderful. The wall color is the perfect complement to the sofa and the white chairs. The little table is pretty as can be, the perfect size and shape. It's all looking just as awesome as i knew it would, and it's totally fun watching how you pull it all together.

It takes courage and patience to go through a move and renovation, the sort you're facing. But the results are becoming clear and you have such beautiful things that you can't go wrong! I love what you've done with the living room! Hang in there!
