A Little Staging...

As many of you know our house is for sale and we are living "temporarily" in a townhouse.  We moved out some of our furniture and left some for "staging."

In the kitchen I set up this little vingette that I saw on Pinterest.  Glass Canisters from Walmart...

Filled with flower and sugar.  Vintage tea cups are used as scoops.
Don't know if this will sell the house or not, but it sure looks pretty.

It does look pretty. But its those little touches that makes a difference when people are trying to decide to buy.

I like a little personal touch to a home that is for sale. It speaks of the owners and how well loved the house was. This is so pretty!

I know that it helps. Paula and I always go to visit open houses and model homes looking for design ideas.
Someone is looking for the feel of home, ... yours is just that.

I firmly believe that staging does help to sell a house. You never know, those little jars could do the trick!

Hi Sissie. It does look pretty. Try an applepie smell in a bag and some coffie in a canister. That smell works magic.Good luck with the selling.

I am going to be staging our house, too, and love this idea....makes it all appear more homey.
We are staying in our house, I THINK, until it sells. Should we not? Would it be better to move our beds and such OUT and into the new and live there? This is all so dang new to us....
