Baskets Baskets....I want my Baskets!!!!

Suddenly I'm loving baskets!  I want baskets everywhere!  It all started with that darn Pottery Barn catalog showing all of their wonderful baskets.  I couldn't resist....I had to have it....price be darned....she was going to be mine....

The size is perfect for holding extra pillows, magazines, throws....
Certainly there are enough reasons right there to justify having it....

Plus it goes well with my new PB 5x8 wool rug.....
Of course my favorite store, HomeGoods had some wonderful baskets too....
Who says that organization need be boring...
I say the more baskets the merrier....
I've got my eye on a few more....stay tuned.

~~hugs~~
Sissie

I've always loved baskets. Back in the day, when I couldn't afford anything else. I even hung baskets on the wall for decor. Now, I love them for storage. Great shape on the one you just purchased!

I love 'em too Sissie! I even have some in the storage shed and Dale asks me why do I have them if I'm not using them? My answer is always...Oh. I'll use them...I just can't use them all at once :)
I love your new one!!!
sending hugs...

There is something to be said about baskets and the relaxed country mood they create.

I love baskets, too...all shapes and sizes. I started looking for them at festivals and I have a few Etsy shops saved in my favs that have beautiful baskets. I haven't ordered any because of the high shipping but you can't beat a hand made basket! I love your decor!

Baskets go well with any decor. They add texture and a little outdoor feel. The nice thing about baskets is they can be taken outdoors and spray washed and dried, the more you do it the longer they will last. Love baskets. We have many for organizing and storing newspaper and magazines. Timeless. Love what you do here Sissie. Keep up the good work!

I really like the shape to that first basket, Sissie! Very pretty. I have so many baskets. I keep the ones that come with the gift baskets, so I've all different sizes and shapes. When we moved I got rid of at least half of them and just kept the ones I've actually used in some way.

I love baskets too, Sissie. I am especially drawn to the shape of the first one as it reminds me of my daddy's old fishing basket. Baskets; you can so much with them.

Blessings,
Sandi

That is one fine basket, I have been picking more up lately too. I thought of you when I was doing my craft room, I kind of felt like you must have lately, standing with tons of stuff piled around you, thinking what have I gotten my self into!

I love those baskets you have girl! I have shied away from baskets for a long time, I think due to how they used to look back in the day lol. But you have renewed my interest in them by showing these lovelies. Going out this weekend to search for some :)
