Enjoying the moment....

Hello Blogger Sweeties!  I'v been having more fun than a girl oughta.  Just enjoying life and of course, creating.

First up let me show you this sweet toile inspired lampshade.  I found it at.....Lowe's!  I started a collection of brown transferware and this goes with it perfectly.....wish I could show you but it didn't make the trip.  Some of it even found it's way to my sister's house...

When I saw these beautiful burlap pillows made by sister...

She put these in our "Sooper Sistas" booth and I think they have already sold.   So....

I decided to make some burlap hearts....

While prowling the thrift store I found this burlap bag.  It had the name of a company across the font so I covered it with wide burlap ribbon and added a bow and some pretties.
Instant cute tote...

My new mantra is "do not put your life on hold....live each day to the fullest because no one is promised tomorrow."  I've learned that you must start right now, not tomorrow but right now if you want to change your life.  So here's to change....bring it on, let's do it!!!

                                          ~~hugs~~

O, Sissie...I am about to make a huge change...moving out of our house of 40 years to a modern, spacious fun house right by our son and his precious family....and it only takes 10 minutes to get to my daughter's house. It is a blessed change, indeed...:)
Those burlap hearts are adorable...and I, too, have a burlap bag with WORLD MARKET on it...however, I kind of like the logo so might just add a cute bow and carry it to the pool. :)

Ohhh..Sissie! I don't blame you one bit. She is beautiful! I am on a basket kick too. But, actually, I don't think I ever got off of being on one 80's!
I remember I nailed a beam across the kitchen entry that separated the dining room from the kitchen. It wasn't a thick beam but it for all the world looked like a real beam...and I hung it FULL of baskets. I just might do it again. Imagine a white beam full of all sorts of different shades of white, off white, beige etc. baskets. LOVELY!
