Hi Blogger buds! I love it when I'm fluffing up my booth and a blogging buddy stops by to say hello. It's so much fun to meet followers of my blog and even nicer when they tell me what they have bought from me and how they use some of my creations in their homes. Makes me feel all squishy happy.....
Even though I'm no longer at Miss Minnie's, they still seem to find me at my new location at the Little River Mini Mall, in Little River,SC, just a few miles from Myrtle Beach. Thanks for stopping by today Donna. It was so nice to see you. Hope you enjoy the chicken coop!
Speaking of booths....this is a little chair I painted with chalk paint.
I even painted the fabric. It's just a plain little chair but I love it's curvy back...
I'm happy to say that we are closing on our new home on August 15th!!!! Believe me I'm counting down the days. I can't wait to show it off. It will take some time to get it together, but I hope to take all of you along with me during the process. Afterall, it's you that inspire me and keep me motivated to create.

Of course Gizzy, my Production Manager likes to test everything before it leave for the booth...
I love it when brides-to-be stop by my booth too. They are always looking for something different and unusual for their weddings. I've sold everything from galvanized buckets to rag garlands and burlap pillows.
My latest creation is this paper umbrella.
It's embellished with old lace, ribbon and blingy buttons...
Hard to photograph, but I think you can see how pretty this would be as a table centerpiece or hanging from a tree in an outdoor wedding...
Just had to throw in a little burlap bag with this delicious ribbon and a pearl button...

Congratulations on your new home! It's always so much fun to cross the threshold and design a new space. I have to ask...when you painted the chair fabric, did you do anything to it first? Is the fabric hard now? I have a pair of dark wood chairs with red fabric and want to paint them...but I am hesitant. I just want them to be perfect, but also comfortable!
I am really loving that chair! I think it's great that you can paint fabric...and kitty seems to approve! :)
