New Home stuff....

Hi sweet blogger buds.  I don't want to lose touch with you so  I'm trying to keep up with the blog as much as possible.  Here's just a few pics of the new house.  Keep in mind that I haven't done much decorating.  Still need window treatments, wall art and many more things!  It all takes time as you well know.

The dining room is one of my favorite rooms. As you can see it gets plenty of light from the large double windows.  I've yet to hang artwork or wall art.  That will come later.  I love the dark wood floors.
The kitchen is open to the great room.  I'm in the process of placing all of my white ironstone on the top of the cabinets.  We are also waiting on the other bar stool to arrive.
I managed a little side trip to Pottery Barn.  Fell in love with the metal tray, the glass roped jar.  The paper flower came from Home Goods.
Poor little Gizzy.  She has worked so hard helping Mommie with the move.  She's exhausted and is taking a much needed nap.  Don't worry I turned the ceiling fan on for her.  She loves watching the ducks on the water.
Okay, that's it for now.  Please bare with me as I slowly return to normal....whatever that is!  I promise to come visit soon.  I really appreciate all of your well wishes and sweet comments.

                                   ~~ big squishee hugs~~

Such a pretty, pretty place you have landed in! I love your choices. Especially the chairs! I think it takes years to make a home truly yours. And you have a big job! I saw your wonderful sofa too. I wish I had a reliable upholsterer. So gorgeous. I've been off doing a lot of non bloggy things this year too. It's good for the soul! :0)
