Whatcha been up to.....

Hello lovely friends.  I'm so glad that you are stopping by to visit me here at my blog.  I plan to spend a few hours checking on all the new posts that y'all keep putting up....so much inspiration!

I've been putting together another booth.  Yes, I'm crazy.  Now that's out of the way let me show you a few pics.  It's still in progress but getting there...
Found this pitiful little thing at a thrift store and gave it new life with some American Paints Chalk paint.
My mannequin got a new vintage dress and some rag garland...

Painted a wooden box and filled it with some Christmas greenery and Deer ornaments.

Created a burlap runner with rosettes.  It's very long and would look good on someone's holiday table.

Okay that's what I've been doing so how about you?  In the meantime remember to get out there this week and create, make, paint, write, photograph, sew, repurpose or find something wonderful and share it with us!

~~hugs~~
Sissie

Looks great, Sissie! I've been busy sewing, sewing, sewing here! : ) Trying to get some Christmas things ready for my booth, my Etsy and a Dickens Festival gift shop I'm doing in a month. Nothing like a little pressure to get things going!

Girlfriend you are crazy!! You just can't sit still, here you are decorating a house and opening a new booth. Well, lucky for your antique mall because everything you make is gorgeous, great save on the little side table and the deers in the box are great!

Thanks for sharing all your projects--I love them all! Very inspiring. The table runner looks great--love the box with the Christmas decore too. I made a pillow! That is about as creative as I have been lately :)

As usual, adorable projects. You worked your Sissie magic, and poof everything is pretty! Just saw another blog post by someone who was inspired by a project you did over a year ago and did her version of some canvas bags... she credited you with the inspiration!

I love everything you've done here..you are so crafty.
Now, this American chalk paint...?
Good, hu?
Also, I have some tall shutters I want to spray paint and make into a screen. I want to go with a soft, light gray...seems you used something like it once....remember what it was??
So glad you are getting settled into your new home. We've been in ours about a month and it'll take a little longer to feel like home....but, oh, we are sure enjoying it.
