Holiday Lag...

Hello Sweet Bloggers!  Just so you'll know I'm still around and haven't fallen off the grid....I'll throw in a few photos of some simple projects.  Nothing mind blowing, just plain ole stuff.

I think I have a case of the "After Holidays lag" and haven't been motivated to create and find.  I know I need to get with it because Spring is on its way and that means the vacation season will begin which means customers in our shops.

So I thought I'd create a few spring blooms to brighten the season and hurry it up a little...

I was lucky enough to find this table with the two fabric toppers at a nearby boutique that was, sadly going out of business.  Seems as though there are more and more of small businesses closing the doors....sad.  This table is perfect for display in my booth.

Love making these hearts out of coffee filters.

Gabby and Gizzy have been a little bored lately.  Here they are intrigued by the flock of birds landing on the lake.
Okay that's it for now.  Get out there this week and create, make, sew, write, photograph, paint, crochet, craft and find something wonderful and share it with us!

                                              ~~hugs~~

Hi Sissy:
Love the beautiful bouquets you're creating. You're right...they look like Spring!

We're off to a concert this afternoon. I don't mind time away from the studio when I can watch Handsome play. :-D

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday, my dear.
xoxo

Glad to see you have not fallen off the edge of the earth, Sissie! lol That is sad about the small businesses closing. There is a "paper" shop closing in a neighboring town and that is going to be a sad event for all the paper crafters in our area. xo Diana

Sissy,

I can see now how you have to stay ahead of the seasons...like magazines. That table and those flowers and containers are so cute. I just can't seem to find a small town that has these sorts of shops in my area. If I do, they are pretty well known and crowded all spring, summer and fall, which drives the prices up.

Anywho, I've been a little absent myself. Glad to touch base with you. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

XO,
Jane

I hate to see small business' go out of business too :( The cats look so cute looking out the window--my cats spend hours watching the birds and chattering their teeth. :)
