Okay everyone I have diagnosed myself with a severe case of Blog-guilt-itis. The symptoms are not posting often enough, not coming up with ideas to post about, too lazy to take photos and then the worst symptom of it all....feeling guilty for not posting!
I think many of you know what I mean. If we neglect our blog and have nothing new to write about we continually worry about it and it's ALWAYS ON OUR MINDS!!!!
But wait! There are moments of wellness...As I walked by my new vanity I realized that I could blog about it!!! So here goes...
I finally have a new vanity thanks to my sweet friend Julia. She brought it to her booth, I saw it and it was mine.
She painted it with American Paints Chalk/Clay/Mineral based paint. The color is Home Plate.
Now, let's take a look a closer look at what's on the vanity...
A pretty silver tray and several silver jars collected from thrifts and antique shops, my favorite perfume, CoCo Mademoiselle by Chanel, and a Brighton bracelet given to me by my Sista.
This little bunny is from Tiffany's. A good friend of mine named "Bunny" gave this to me as a gift. The glass box holds some of my favorite pieces of jewelry.
I found this gorgeous metal mirror at HomeGoods. It looks like lace and has the perfect touch of chippiness.
I found the chair at a thrift store, painted it with the same paint and color and added my pretty pink toile fabric to the seat. Love!
Added my mannequin for a nice photo shoot and if you look to the right you might see a little furry animal photo bombing the setup.
Okay, that's it and I'm on the mend. In the meantime don't forget to get out there and create, make, photograph, sew, cook, design, craft, write a masterpiece and find something wonderful and share it with all of us!
~~hugs~~

Oh, Sissie, you may have been suffering from blog-guilt-itis, but you haven't lost your touch. The vanity is lovely and I LOVE your chair as well as the toile lamp! Everything is very pretty! Thanks for sharing and enjoy your day.

Sissie I totally love your vanity and chair, love the fabric you used on your chair so pretty and romantic ;-)
For some reason I can't publish my post so until I could figure out what's going on, I'll just blog hop..lol...

What a beautiful vanity and the chair was a perfect match for it.
Blessings,
Linda
I've been the same way, Sissie. Totally unmotivated and not much as far as projects in sight. I am redoing some things from my booth so I have a few posts coming from that, but otherwise I don't have much going on. That means not much to blog about.
Your vanity is very pretty and makes a perfect post with your lovely pictures.
I like it!! Pretty things on top too! :)
The vanity is gorgeous and I love the chair. Your display of jewelry is so pretty!
hugs, Linda
Don't feel guilty for not blogging, Sissie! So many of us (including moi!) have suffered "blogger burn out" from time to time! Love your vanity, that mirror is gorgeous!!
Haha! I have guiltblogitis too! Maybe it was the Jan/Feb blues... we'll see
And... pretty pretty pretty! Your little vanity and chair and all of it. It's eye candy!
Cindy
I am glad you are getting over guiltblogitis--glad to see you here whenever you have the time. Enjoy your new vanity and chair--so sweet!
Sissie I love the vanity and that pretty chair!! Such pretty photos!
We all suffer from blogger burn out every now and then...last year I took three months off.
it's so pretty, Sissie. no guilt!!! Life keeps us busy, and there are times that blogging just doesn't take a front seat to other things. Blog when you feel like it, I think most of us that have been blogging for awhile all go thru stages of motivation and creativity. have fun, and share when you feel like it, we all love your beautiful posts and creativity!
I am with you. Trying to find my groove again. I have a french desk I will be bringing home from the store. I love it! This looks like mine. So pretty. Hope you are doing well.
Life is too short to feel guilty~ I am in the same boat. Your vanity is totally blog worthy! xo
Your vanity is wonderful! I love little spots of girly. :)
Don't feel too guilty about blogging lapses. We all have them...I sometimes remember that blogging is for fun (mine isn't a business) so just do it when it works out.
Sissie I have missed you and I too have been suffering from the very same thing but still have not come up with anything like yours to post about.
Your vanity is gorgeous and I love of course how you added all your pretty collections to bring everything together so beautifully.
You certainly bounced back with a great post.
Love ya
Maggie
Hi Sissie, I adore the vanity and the chair goes so well with it. I'm just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. I have been having trouble with GFC and if I am already following you, and you following me, please forgive me. If not, please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris
