My blog has unfortunately taken a back seat to my booth. I am trying to get ready for the holiday season and for our shop's upcoming Holiday Open House, so something had to give.
Poor blog....I'm so sorry that you are so neglected. But I do think about you often. But even more I think about you, my avid blog followers, and I want to at least update you on a few things.
Remember, my mannequin. Well, she is now complete and sitting center stage in my booth. She has been crowned with tulle and a some sparkle!
I've also added a few holiday items but need lots more!
I had an old tobacco stick gate and decided it would look great as a yard or porch holiday decoration. I added the twig wreath with some embellishments and I think it turned out pretty cute!
I also want to show you these cabinet doors made into wall art. I cut the fish and the crab from some fabric and decoupaged the pieces onto the doors that I previously painted with white chalk paint. The chalk paint that I used is Americana Décor from Home Depot. I then added some hardware from Hobby Lobby. I'm happy to say they sold right away!

Okay that's it for now.
Remember to get out there and create, paint, sew, write, blog, craft, photograph and find something wonderful to share with us.

Your booth looks gorgeous, Sissy! You have been busy! What a fun idea with the cabinet doors.
OMG!!! Home Depot has chalk paint? They thought I was nuts when I asked about it 2 years ago. Good news. Advice...do you feel furniture always needs to be primed before painting? Heard that and wondering.
You are too creative. Please blog more, we need the inspiration!
You look gorgeous in your profile picture...you make me want to cut my bangs! :)

Oh how pretty! That black and white gingham table cloth looks so pretty near the pink dress. Love that wallpaper too.
