Reluctantly adding color....

Okay, let's try this again!  I'm trying to add some color to my neutral pallet and this color might be something I can live with!
I ran across these in HomeGoods.  You know the place where there are so many pillows and so much pretty home décor that you start to hyper-ventilate the minute you walk in the door!
I've been known to frantically fill my cart with stuff I can't live without and after an hour of indulgence in all things beautiful, I realize that I must "get-a-grip."  So, the cart gets emptied of things I want but know I can live without.....do you ever do this??

This soft, almost coral color with the touches of starfish and light brown striped pillows add just the right hint of color for Spring.

Added the pretty candle too but forgot to take the wrapping off...oops!

This might be all the color I can handle but I'm liking it for now.
What's your latest color crush or are you just remaining neutral?

Oh yes I experience that too at Home goods. I actually have chosen not to go in shops for these past few years because of that. It has really been good for my soul. But I love your seaside pinks here and I think they are a perfect choice of color with the neutral palette. I have been remaining neutral with all the varying shades of whites. Some days I will add a bit of blue but then it goes back in the closet. Color never lasts long in my cottage.

Love the color Sissie. I have tried so many times to add color and still end up back at my neutrals. Yours is sweet and just a small touch of color and it looks so pretty.

Haha...I do that all the time, Sissie! Fill my cart, then slowly empty it on my way to the register!
The pillows you chose are perfect for some Spring color in your gorgeous home.
Very nice!!

That's a beautiful color...and my latest Color Affair is with turquoise. Just bits and pieces of it in with my creams and whites...and of course, with my black and white as base.

Hi Sissie, it's been awhile... Your shopping habits sound much like mine, yet more at shabby shops for me because I favore mor of the less mass produced items then the retail finds. I will fill a basket or hands full to ponder a look or coulor for my home to then place baxk I. It's spots due to talking myself out of the colours.

I happen to love Coral tones in a beach cottage design, it always feels so tropical beach to me, or the inside salmon colour of a Sea Shell. And mixed with beach striped canvas fabrics in blues always blend so seamlessly.
Love your starfish pillow it looks great on the neutral sofa.

I am getting ready to spend some cottage time down on the beach in Manhatten beach and the Malibu area. Then back up to Santa Monice with my daughter and friends. We will shop and sand our days away.

See you soon.
