Angel Wings for the Holidays, Seawashed Living and the Giveaway Winner...

Hello Everyone!  The skies are blue and the air is crisp here on the Carolina Coast...which means it's time to start thinking about Holiday Decorating!!!!

The first thing that I do is start looking for ideas on your blogs, perusing the magazines and pinterest and ooohing and ahhhing over all the talent that's out there.

But one thing that I know for sure is that Angel Wings are on my list for my Holiday decor.  Since I sell Jeanne d'Arc's handmade vintage lace angel wings, then the choice for me is simple.  Here are a few ways that I have embellished them...

Beads, lace rosettes, ornaments or anything that strikes your fancy will dress them up.

Pin a brooch on the wings for some extra bling.

Add ornaments, ribbon, bits of this and that.

I want to show you these lovely rosary beads from Kerrie at Sea Cottage/Sea Washed Living.  Kerrie is an artist and a very lovely person who is fortunate enough to live by the sea. Which is what inspires her soft, lovely style.  The rosary beads are white wash painted and Kerrie describes them as "hand-painted in a patina as if tossed and turned by the waves of the ocean deep."
They are also embellished with a lovely wooden cross, soft ribbon and a lovely charm.  I love them Kerrie!!!
Be sure and visit Kerrie's blog to see more of her soft, soothing, sea washed style.  You'll love her home, her poetic words and her art!
You can also find more of Kerrie's art and beautiful things for sale in her etsy shop!
See how lovely they look with the angel wings.....

The winner of the Jeanne d'Arc vintage lace shoulder bag is
Diana, Nana Diana take a Break.  Congratulations Diana.  It will be in your hands in a few days.  Thanks to all of you who commented and stay tuned for another giveaway soon!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I can hardly believe I won that beautiful bag. I can't WAIT to show it off to my family and friends. It is just gorgeous and I feel blessed to have won!

How--about those wings---are those SWEET, or what? They are amazing, Sissie. So is that rosary from Kerrie. She is just such a sweet person and I always think of her Pearl (travel trailer) and her riding her cute white vintage-looking bike.

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend, and again--Thank you SOOO much! This win came on the perfect weekend for me and brightened my spirits! xo Diana

Kerrie has such a beautiful aesthetic! You make a great pair. I know she loves JDL too. The angel wings are a perfect Christmas decoration. I have some feathered ones hanging in my little girls room. Seems like every occasion calls for them! haha! Thanks for such a nice compliment on my shop post! It's great to share vintage with like minded souls!

An all white Christmas tree with twinkling white lights and a set of the angel wings would be lovely.

Diana the Jeanne D Arc Living lace wings are so dreamy. I cannot wait for mine to arrive. They will add such delicate beauty to my Christmas decor. You have given me some ideas of how to adorn them. Your post is so so gorgeous and I can hardly believe that I am included...thank you thank you for such kind words and your genuine loveliness. The Rosary goes so well with your french nordic whites. I'm so pleased that Diana won the JDL bag! It's so beautiful, and Diana is the perfect person to receive it! You wouldn't believe the compliments I get on mine...I just love it, Sissie!!
The way you decorate the angel wings is so inspirational! Using Kerrie's rosary with the JDL wings is a great idea. I might use your idea if you don't mind. Kerrie is a gifted artist, and has a very serene way of decorating her own home. That was kind of you to feature her in your post.
You are a special blogging friend to so many, dear Sissie.
Smooches.
