What's on your vanity??? Oh how I love a pretty dresser or vanity top, or just pretty things all nestled on trays. Perfume bottles, jewelry, trinket trays, silver and crystal boxes, pearls, you know all that girlie stuff.
Here's a few vanity tops around Sissie's Shabby Cottage.
This one is on the vanity in the bedroom. The mirrored tray was a wall mirror that I embellished with vintage brooches.
I keep this vintage mirrored tray on the bedside table.
This mirrored vanity piece is in the guest bedroom.
This three way Venetian mirror is in the Master Bath.
This one in another bathroom...
I think that all of this loveliness makes the world a prettier place. And, I always smile when I walk past them. (Until I see the dust!)

My vanity is bare...just a candle, a pretty box of RA matches and a large shell. But guess what? I have the same vintage silver brush as you. I have the mirror and comb too...they were a gift for my wedding and forever treasures.
No room for pretty mirror trays, but yours are so lovely.

Sissie...I love the doilies. I have so many vintage ones from my foraging through piles at antique shops and I keep them at the lake in my big Hoosier cabinet.
I think your mirrors are perfect to hold your perfumes and brooches. I would love to know what perfume you love the most. I have a small mirrored tray and have been meaning t get something larger and prettier. I have abut 7-10 perfumes I really love and then I fill my dresser with pretty dishes filled with little treasures and jewelry 'trees'. Maybe I should check eBay?

Love your displays! I think I saw some Brighton jewelry. :-) I use lots of silver in my displays--sometimes I allow it to tarnish gracefully since it's in the bath. I used to have doilies, lace, vintage doll clothes, antique collars and ladies gloves, & wedding hankies hanging everywhere. But 1.5 years ago, I got a clothes moth infestation and it's taken me this long to kill every last one of them. :-( I saw one this week flying by and I killed it (was a female because the males go into my pheromone traps). It will be a while before I "trust enough" to display my vintage things again. Your home is very lovely.
