Well hello there. I'm so glad you stopped by to see me today. Don't you just love this time of year when everywhere you look you see touches of green grass, budding trees and blooming flowers. The shops are full of bunnies, spring bouquets, lovely wreaths, baby chicks, sheep and little lambs, all enticing you to make something pretty. Then there are the garden centers with new
flowers, plants, trees and shrubs beckoning you to get your hands in some dirt and start planting flowers and herbs. Ahhh...Spring!
So here's a few Spring Vignettes that I've created and I can't wait to see what all of you are showing on your blogs.
I've had this old wooden box forevvaah... It's falling apart but I just keep filling it with stuff and making it purdee. Sometimes just simple greenery will do.
Of course it wouldn't be Spring without a chicken and some eggs...
And a bird cage full of flowers and a nest...
For those of you that have asked about my son Jeff, he's doing a little better. He's on his new medicine and we are hoping and praying it will keep the Crohns under control. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers and support.
Okay, that's it for now. I hope to not be so long between posts so until next time....

I don't know about you but I love faux flowers and this time of the year has me putting together arrangements all over the house.
I share a love for little sheep and lambs with Debra creator of the blog, Common Ground. Go over to her blog and check out her Spring Decor.
This little guy prompted me to create a Springtime vignette for the kitchen table.
Of course he had to bring his friends along...
Nothing goes better with little sheep than brown transfer ware.

They are all wonderful but I especially love that lamb.
It is all so lovely and springy!! I have some bunnies out and need to make an Easter vignette for my table. You inspire me as always. Glad to hear Jeff is doing better. Continued prayers!
Hey sweet Sissy! It's a good thing Spring rolls around when it does, we all need a little pick-me-up after a long dull winter. I love your wonderful vignettes full of goodies. your little lambie is adorable, don't they just put a smile on your face? xoxo Debra
I love your vignettes. Sadly, most of my spring decorations are stored in the warehouse we rented. I think I need to go dig out a few things for spring and summer. I do have a few Easter things out but am giving most of them to my daughters.
I LOVE that lamb and don't think I have ever seen one quite like it! It is just darling as are all your sweet arrangements.
I am so glad Jeff is doing better. Prayers for him AND you. xo Diana
I love every single picture and detail. Everything is very romantic

My favorite is the old box filled with spring. And of course the sheep!
Hi Sissie, I wanted to stop by to tell you how much I appreciate your prayers for my surgery last Monday. Diana posted a prayer request on her blog and I am full of gratitude! I am slowly recovering but wanted you to know how very much I appreciate you thinking of me. :-) Your blog is so lovely, I love all your decorations for Spring. I am looking forward to following your blog and getting to know you better. Have a great week!
Blessings,
Jill
Hi Sissie,
Its always a joy to see your comment son my blog. Truly your words always inspire a joyful day. As for Debra's sheep, oh yes, her collection has always inspired me as well, so much so I took to sculpting them in my wire forms and covering them in Cartapesta and dressing them in some virgin wool I had from local sheep that I had been sheared.
Debra's collection is soulful right ? and I always love seeing how she vignettes them. Years ago I followed her closely and now it's time to time I get by. I so need to get over there and see her spring showcasing her spring beauty.
As for your apple green box? I love it and it's beautiful in your home. Your birdcage filled with spring charms as part of your spring center piece. I love brown transferware, many years ago I had a small collection myself yet regret the selling of it years ago. I think when I found the old vintage linen hounds tooth brown checked fabric I was moved to create holiday stockings with it that sold in my etsy with just 4 left. They needed to go to the collectors of transferware with a vision of using them together.
I held back on a couple for my own reminder of how I like to collect.
So wonderful to hear your son is being blessed with medications that are brining him some help and comfort in his pain and wellness... God is so big in helping the meek and prayers do get answered. I will continue to add your son and your family in my prayers expecting nothing less then Gods hands in continued progress for better well being for Jeff and how he wants to live pain free in daily joy.
A beautiful blessed Easter dear, one that joys all your days ahead of you.
Xx
