Hi! I've been blog hopping this morning, and found you through another NC blog I just discovered, ...picklesandcheese! (Hope I have the blog name correct!) I'm from NC also, in Whiteville. Your living room is absolutely gorgeous!!! I wouldn't change a thing!
Love all your thrifting finds, too! I went to the Goodwill yesterday in Wilmington, and didn't find a single thing! That never happens! LOL!
Hope you are fairing well in our unseasonably cold weather! Not use to this, are we??? LOL! ...enjoyed my visit here! Stay warm, Rhonda :)
Well now Chic Glamour Girl you know there are some out here like myself who might be a tad jealous but happy for you too.....glad you got this because you do deserve it... Maggie
So, what is Miss Minnie's and where exactly is it??? Sounds interesting, if it involves booths! :) Have you ever been to the shabby chic shop connected to Sophia V. West Florist, out in Ogden, towards Porters Neck? My MIL carried me there before Christmas, and it was a little pricey, but had some really nice things, and great inspiration. Reminds me of your style and colors. I'll try to find out the name of it! I have the card somewhere. They "remake and repaint" a lot of second hand stuff. ...beautiful pieces!
My SIL is going for a coastal glam style, and you have captured it beautifully! {I guess that is how you describe it. :)} She doesn't have a blog, but I'm going to send her here to check out your home! She will love it!
OMGosh...that living room gets prettier every single time I come by to see you. Come summertime...I am going to began adding whites and cremes to my brown living room, as you suggested. The walls are creamy white, which I adore, but I have dark brown, fairly new carpet..it will stay as will all the furniture (2 caramel colored leather sofas.) I operate on a SOCIAL SECURITY budget so I can never make MAJOR changes...it's so much fun to do what i can and then like it so much that I am excited. Thanks so much for coming by.... xo bj
Congratulations, Sissie, on your wonderful award! It is perfect for you, too! Sending many happy thoughts and well wishes your way, sweet friend! Vicki
