HAPPY PINK VALENTINE SATURDAY!

Welcome to Pink Saturday and Happy Valentine's Day!
Be sure and visit our lovely host, Beverly at How Sweet The Sound
for some more Pink Saturday Valentine Goodness.  And, while you are there be sure and wish Beverly a speedy recovery.
Some pretty yummies on a three tiered tray just for you.
and
some flowers too!

Since this post is all about love and Valentine's Day
I am showing you an old picture of my
Mom and Dad
She was about 17 years old and he was about 19

They were married and had six children.
Sadly, my Father died at the age of 32 with the oldest
of us being 12 and the youngest only 3.
My Mother lived to be 75.
I love this picture, it's old and faded but it definitely
says "Love."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Valentine's Day
~~hugs~~
Hi Sisssy, I love that photo of your folks! How romantic, yet tragic for him to die at such a young age. I lost a sister when she was just 41, and her youngest(my niece) was only 12. Your mom and dad looked very much in love!
I'm planning on participating in Pink saturday, but didn't let Beverly know because I wasn't sure she was going to do it. She's in my prayers. Marcia
Hi Sherry...
I don't know what year that picture was taken..but Pat and I married at 17 and 20. We married in June and Pat had just turned 20 on February 28th. It was a very romantic time to be young. We had seven children. Patrick lived to see his children raised and to see his grandchildren. All of them. He died at 63 years old. I am now 73. The photo of your parents is precious! What can be more wonderful than to know you were born of love...
Hugs,
Mona
Oh Sissie such pink goodness here. The photo of your parents is the dearest thing I've ever seen. I imagine that that is one of your sweetest treasures especially since your father passed at a very young age. I love having photos of my parents and grandparents.It helps us remember our own childhood's better. I think we are lucky to have them survive all these years.
Oh Sissie Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Valentine's Day. I so love this post. Love those darn little cherry flavored slices, oh so tasty.
That picture of your Daddy and your Moma is just precious. What a sweet moment that they shared. Your Daddy passed away awfully young. My Daddy will be 78 in August. It does not seem possible. He was going to remain 25 forever.
The flowers are breathtaking. I could smell the heavenly fragrances sweetie. You are always so thoughtful, and have such an eye for all the little things. Thank you so much sweetie. I so love you and adore you. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry
I am so sorry to read though about how young your dad was when he passed. How hard that had to have been on all of you.
