Please Pray
for
our West Virginia Coal Miners
and their families......
I am a native West Virginian and no matter where I go, my heart will always be in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of West Virginia. Please pray for these strong people who have dedicated their lives to making our country strong and resourceful.
This morning they have reported 25 miners have died. Please pray for their families and loved ones and pray for those who are still unaccounted for.
~~Blessing and hugs~~

You came to the right place honey because you know we bloggers are prayer warriors and indeed we will pray. You are awesome to call our attention to the need and to remember them in your heart as you do. Have a great day, XXMollye

Oh, Sissie, I know. I have lost sleep worrying and praying for these poor men and their families. Sometimes things just don't make sense, and it makes me so mad . . . and sad. (((hugs)))
Loving thoughts and prayers to all. So sad.
My thoughts have been with the miners and their families since I heard the news! My husband's dad was a miner when he first came to the US from Italy in the early 1900's. I know it is a very dangerous job that these men do each day. xo Joan@anythinggoeshere
Oh my Sissie, this is just horrible news! My niece goes to school in West Virginia and the entire state was so excited for WVU to be in the Final 4 last weekend. My heart goes out to these hardworking families for their sacrifice and tragic loss!
Kat
My family and I are praying for these courageous men and their families. I wish I could be there to offer a shoulder to cry on and hugs to the families waiting....
How sad that is Sissie. Good for you to remind us of it.

Hi Sissie,
I just heard about this, my goodness the poor families just waiting to hear about their loved ones. I will of course keep them all in my thoughts and prayers.
Big hugs, Elizabeth
Thanks for the reminder. The people who do this kind of work are very brave. I can't imagine what the families are having to endure.
It is so tragic. My heart goes out to everyone in that community. They are in my prayers.

I just heard about this, it is so sad. One of the towns I lived in as a child, was a coal mining town in WV. Coal Miners are very hard workers- doing a terribly dangerous job. My heart and prayers go out to their families.
O, Sissie, I also heard this on the news. I am saying prayers for all the families. So very sad.
This is so tragic. My husband is a miner here in Australia. Our hearts go out to all the families involved in this very sad disaster.
Prayers for peace and a quick resolution to this.
Sylvia
Our family is praying for these men and their families. On the news it told of how the town rallies and supports one-another which is a beautiful thing.

This is indeed a tough time for the whole state. My prayers and thoughts go out to the miners and their families. Hopefully, the last 4 remaining lost will shed good news and be found un-harmed. Please keep our state, the miners and their families in your thoughts.
Sissy amor, it is just heartbreaking, I pray for those that are lost, their families that are left to carry on, and those that are still waiting to be bought out...my heart truly goes out to everyone that is hurting over this tragedy right now. Besos, Rose
It's so horrific, Sissie! I've been praying for them.
I must admit, I thought of you right away because I know that's your home state.
Hi Sissie,
Thanks so much for posting about our miners! I have wanted to but I just didn't know what to say. I was so sure that they would find the others alive and well. It is so disappointing and heartbreaking at the same time. Our local news keeps updating us on the latest details. www.wsaz.com It is so hard to watch. Our Gov. Joe is such a great leader for our great state! He really makes me feel proud to say that I am a West Virginian!
Thank you to all who are praying for our miners! May God Bless you!
Hugs,
Angela
