Please send up a prayer!

                                             Please Pray
                                                  for
                                  our West Virginia Coal Miners
                                     and their families......
I am a native West Virginian and no matter where I go, my heart will always be in the beautiful Appalachian mountains of West Virginia.   Please pray for these strong people who have dedicated their lives to making our country strong and resourceful.

This morning they have reported 25 miners have died.  Please pray for their families and loved ones and pray for those who are still unaccounted for.

                                   ~~Blessing and hugs~~

My thoughts have been with the miners and their families since I heard the news! My husband's dad was a miner when he first came to the US from Italy in the early 1900's. I know it is a very dangerous job that these men do each day. xo Joan@anythinggoeshere

Oh my Sissie, this is just horrible news! My niece goes to school in West Virginia and the entire state was so excited for WVU to be in the Final 4 last weekend. My heart goes out to these hardworking families for their sacrifice and tragic loss!

I just heard about this, it is so sad. One of the towns I lived in as a child, was a coal mining town in WV. Coal Miners are very hard workers- doing a terribly dangerous job. My heart and prayers go out to their families.

Our family is praying for these men and their families. On the news it told of how the town rallies and supports one-another which is a beautiful thing.

This is indeed a tough time for the whole state. My prayers and thoughts go out to the miners and their families. Hopefully, the last 4 remaining lost will shed good news and be found un-harmed. Please keep our state, the miners and their families in your thoughts.

It's so horrific, Sissie! I've been praying for them.

I must admit, I thought of you right away because I know that's your home state.

Hi Sissie,

Thanks so much for posting about our miners! I have wanted to but I just didn't know what to say. I was so sure that they would find the others alive and well. It is so disappointing and heartbreaking at the same time. Our local news keeps updating us on the latest details. www.wsaz.com It is so hard to watch. Our Gov. Joe is such a great leader for our great state! He really makes me feel proud to say that I am a West Virginian!

Thank you to all who are praying for our miners! May God Bless you!

Hugs,
Angela
